I like it! š
I like it! š
Anchorhead would be the one to ask on the data to be displayed.
How am I just now finding out about this cool logo? Wow! Reminds me of the exploding logo in the 1976 teaser.
I would definitely like the see the 8-bit Death Star brought to life. Maybe a homage to the DS plans in ROTJ?
Iām not aware of any such policy, I think that simply nobody has tried making one before. I would love to see what youāve come up with! š
P.S. Weāve been looking for someone to make a graphic showing how weāre doing with server donations.

If we get the OOT, Lucas can remake Howard the Duck and I wonāt mind. š
I would think they at least had the foresight to shoot ācleanā background plates during TFA just in case they revisited this later.
I think you mean TLJ? Actually thatās interesting to consider. Back when Trevorrow was on IX he had Rian Johnson shoot a scene for IX while filming TLJ because it logistically made sense to do so. Never thought about it but definitely could have been an additional part of that flashback. Obviously no way to know at this point if that scene (whatever it actually is) will be used in JJās IX.
Didnāt we see first see the burning Jedi temple in Reyās vision in TFA?
No, just a brief shot of Luke kneeling and putting his hand on R2.
Reminds me how they wanted to shoot all the Dagobah scenes for ROTJ during production on Empire, but ran out of time. Lucas shot two scenes for ROTS while making AOTC, but neither got used.
Two? I was only aware of the Tatooine one.
Someone made a post about it back in February. I didnāt know it existed before eitherā¦

The artist did a lot of covers for the German Perry Rhodan novels. It looks like creative swipes from iconic spaceships happened more than once in the series. Not sure if these are the same artist.
Thanks. For a moment there I was wondering if Lucas or ILM had āborrowedā the design from some obscure pulpy book cover.
However, itās interesting that the artist choose to add domes to the ship (presumably to differentiate it somewhat) since the Interdictor Star Destroyers introduced in the EU in the 90ās more-or-less did the same thing.
Itās possible either way. Lucas borrowing the design for Chewie is well documented.
I know this guy from somewhere! š
And you donāt have to look too far into vintage science fiction illustrations to find giant round balls of Death.

But he looked more like his Force Phantom self in the TLJ flashbacks than he does here. Unless heās interacting or guiding Rey through visions similar to what she had involuntarily in TFA? The possible wrinkle here is everyone percieves Luke as they last saw him?
Sir Ridley said:
It could just be because a new photoshoot with Mark couldnāt happen for some reason.Yeah, because Mark speaks his mind. They donāt want him near the press.
Itās a darn good thing he doesnāt have one of those twitter things to bypass the publicity machine. š
And hereās a leaked photo of his true TROS apperance. š

Note Luke still has a glove on his hand. And since we didnāt see the mechanical hand fall off when he disappeared, all bets are off. š
Iāve seen it pointed out that the glove has been taken from a The Last Jedi photo and pasted into the new photo. So we canāt be sure what type of hand he will actually have in the movie.
Why would they do that? Just to misdirect?

I was wondering the same thing!
Pasaana is known for itās little old ladies who drive hotrod speeders. š
A lot of other SW items seem to escape detection, like Backstroke of The West, which is up in itās entirety. Youād think that would trigger a video match?
Does it play Walking on Sunshine? š
I still have some of that fast food stuff in a cupboard somewhere. I was disappointed that the commercials with Col. Sanders, the Taco Bell dog and a Pizza Hut delivery person fighting on Naboo didnāt make any of the DVD/Blu Ray extras. They were fun!

I feel oldā¦
How did I not notice Vader pulling a Fonzie in that image before now?
I think it depends on condition and whether itās the 35 cent edition? I should have my comics appraised someday! š
Iām in! Interesting, Thanks again.
Interesting that they knew what the saber hilts looked like at that point, but not Hanās blaster.
And I donāt think the foils could ever close on that X-Wing! š
Thanks for finding that, Jason!
Heard about a recent BBC radio doc on Stuart Freeborn. Any way to listen to this in the states?
Couldnāt we just let this thread die ? There are plenty of interesting edits of TLJ around, radical or conservative edits to almost every taste, made by very nice people who donāt try to make profit out of it, so let us forget about whiny bi***** like Ivan, please.
Letās rise above petty name calling. Weāre better than this.
Are we though? Cāmon silverwook, youāve been here longer than most of us. You canāt have missed that this is pretty par for the course behavior 'round these parts.
Damn right I have. Long enough to recall a level of civility thatās sorely lacking here these days. One can make their point without stooping.
