He does remind me at times of someone I had the misfortune of knowing back in the 80’s. (Had not thought about them in ages until recently.) They lied as easily as one breathes air. The lying got so out of hand, I couldn’t stand it anymore. I finally said, “I don’t believe you”. They were shocked, flew into a rage, and never spoke to me again. I can’t imagine someone like that becoming a functional adult without some sort of treatment.

They’re both great, Swiss. The first one could be our new front page even!

I agree, it was the feeling that the original 1979 cut and the Special Longer Version were being left out and forgotten that kind of sucked at the time. An everything but the replicator sink set, with all three versions would have been sweet. Robert Wise might have had issues with the SLV though.

Looks great! I should have said left upper corner, as it was always on the left side. Sorry! It might also work on the bottom left as part of a signature.

Ironic we have the theatrical cut of TMP on Blu Ray, and not the Director’s Edition with all the CGI shots. Paramount’s penny pinching actually helped for once. 😉

Everybody who knows how, feel free to make up some dummy text using oojason’s template, so we can see how various colors and font will look.

As for the text, a lot is going to depend on what is officially said (or not said) at Celebration. I’ll take a shot at a draft. I welcome others to do the same.
