@LindseyGrahamSC: Really enjoyed a round of golf with President @realDonaldTrump today.

President Trump shot a 73 in windy and wet conditions!

Not that it matters but

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/10/lindsey-graham-almost-certainly-lied-about-trumps-golfing.html

If Trump runs his golf game like he runs everything else, he has a cadre of forward-guard caddies who drop or move balls to favorable positions, and a rear-guard of caddies whose job is to applaud and praise him. He might honestly think he shot a 73.

When I think of Trump golfing, I think of Goldfinger and Oddjob.

Trump is kind of similar to Goldfinger, minus the intelligence and twisted charm of course.

More like Goldmember. 😛

We’re already halfway there. Just say Goldshower and be done with it.

Not until the tapes leak. 😛

It looks on par with previous animations. I doubt the Beeb is ever going to fund some full blown CGI recreation of missing footage. That might get into creepy territory though.

I’m surprised they haven’t toyed with using the An Adventure In Space and Time cast to recreate some of the missing Hartnell stories.

The same basic cable channels have been running marathons of Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, etc. every so often for years. I don’t think it’s “we’re losing the rights soon” so much as “eh, guess it’s time for another Star Wars marathon.” Also, I’m not sure how much Disney talks to TNT, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there was some coordination to drum up Star Wars excitement before the trailer drops tonight.

That article was written in 2015? I didn’t think TV was still shot on film.

I know Mad Men was. I’m not sure how widespread it’s been recently apart from that.

SyFy

FTFY

I am never calling it that. Sounds like an abbreviation for some venereal disease. That some ad agency guy probably got paid millions for dreaming up that rebranding ought to be a crime.

At the same time, Futurama is moving to Sci Fi, which would explain why Comedy Central has been running it a lot lately. Surprised Adult Swim didn’t try to get it back as it was once a big part of their lineup.
This might lend credence to the rumors Sci Fi is actually interested in the new MST3K.
