Gee, I hope not. Bad enough some people think he’s being held against his will somewhere.

Maybe have the new trilogy take place thousands of years ago. Knights of the Old Republic slightly. Only worth it seeing in cinemas, not worth owning, even as a gift or a present. I’ve refused since 2006.
No, I don’t need to explain.
Are you saying you haven’t bought any Star Wars video releases in the past decade? If you’ve been downloading projects sourced from those, you have some explaining to do.
If it was possible to put the new movies out on Laserdisc I’d probably buy them. 😉
The comic con trailer showed a lot more than this one did.
Oh yeah!
What a lovely hot mess to wake up and see in here first thing in the morning. Everybody please chill out?
I’m so out of the loop, (I don’t watch the morning shows) that I’m only familiar with Lauer from his movie appearances.

This one seems prescient now.

Did he have a “reputation” only talked about in hushed whispers before this?
I am going to see the film on Dec 14 and I am not really sure why.
TFA was basically Market Research: The Movie.
This is shaping up to be Market Research Episode II: Revenge of the Focus Group.
But there is still a recognizable kernel of Star Wars in there and I think that is what compels me to show up.
That’s pretty funny. I’m really dreading seeing the purple-haired girl and the fat asian hipster looking girl in The Last Jedi. Star Wars is about escapism. It should not be about reminding you about the types of clowns that walks around in everyday life.
And yet the original is filled with 70’s hairstyles and side burns… just the types of clowns walking around in everyday life back when the film came out.
We’re done with that thread derail. Thanks!
Will be nice to see a version of the trailer that wasn’t shot by a cell phone strapped to someone’s ankle. 😉
Not sure. oojason may know. I have a version of the 1990 TMNT movie that is Hero too. Never mind that a certain British agent once learned how to be one. A ninja that is, not a turtle. 😉
No sign of it on AMC, which is curious as they have been running other Arnie flicks recently.
You might get lucky next month, as Sci Fi tends to do a massive movie marathon around Christmas or New Years.
Poor kids in the UK couldn’t even have proper Ninja Turtles. 😉

So I might get more Moroff some day? 😃
She looks more fatigued every time she’s at the podium.
The ones I’ve seen have a modification made to the motherboard, so I presume it’s “hard wired”.
You can find modified region free players pretty cheap on Ebay these days. I’m going that route if my LG player ever drops dead or I want to watch Doctor Who in another part of the house.
I only have a couple European Blu Rays at this point and haven’t encountered any PAL encoded extras on them, which I’ve heard might give certain displays trouble.
151 minutes? That’s longer than Star Wars!
You know there’s going to be half an hour’s worth of trailers in front. I think I had to sit through twenty minutes of stuff in front of GOTG 2 last summer. I’ve read people groaning about the number of trailers in front of Coco plus the Frozen short, which really isn’t short at all. It was supposed to be a tv special and they slapped it on a defenseless Pixar movie.
Let us hope they don’t surprise us with a Porg cartoon or something.
Remember kids, don’t order the extra large soda at the snack counter for this one!

The Last Jedi has received a 12A rating in the UK (and passed uncut) - http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/star-wars-last-jedi-2017
Guess there isn’t any head butting going on, which is where AOTC got into trouble. And I thought the ratings board here in the U.S. was weird. 😉
What is going on… is that a Boglin?
Probably. It’s from Thumb Wars which I think one can find on youtube these days. I wonder if I should scare up a copy for Frink’s future edits? 😉
Last week was the 30th anniversary of the Doctor’s run in with a most unexpected and bizarre creature.

Friend or foe? It’s origin and intentions a mystery that may never be solved.
I don’t fear the Region codes. 😉
Steven Soderbergh has done several.
The 30th anniversary of a bizarre event in tv history snuck by me last week.

As I was majoring in television and video production back in college, we were all discussing it at the time. I wonder if the people who pulled it off will ever be known?
Reminds me how Disney used to stiff Laserdisc fans by delaying the release of some of their animated films until a year after the VHS.
BBC America can bite me! My cable company puts them on the tier above basic cable, even though they run commercials.
