I’d go with Ghostbusters or Mask of the Phantasm.

I think I’ll go with the latter. Thanks. Although, I’m not sure which version to show them: the (correct) 1.33:1 or the 1.85:1 version that’s included so I don’t have to answer the “why are there black bars on the sides of the screen?” question to people who don’t understand aspect ratios and framing and stuff.

But the 1.85:1 version is the correct version! It was framed for theatrical release and I noticed a few more animation errors watching it the other way.

MOTP was originally intended for a home video release. The decision to go theatrical was made late in production, so both aspect ratios are in play.

How dumb do you have to be to take photos in a classified area and then try to destroy evidence you’ve done so? I would think cell phones or any sort of personal camera would not be allowed on board.

I know my late father worked on something to do with subs at some point in his civilian career, and he wouldn’t even tell me if he ever had set foot on one. That’s how seriously he took his security clearance. I wish I knew more than the tiny fraction I do of what my dad did for a living, but it’s CLASSIFIED for a reason!

It will the end of an era if and when they go. If you were a '70’s kid, going to a TRU store was a unique experience. They had everything you could think of. The older store exteriors were colorful and stood apart.

I was at a grand opening for an L.A. area store when I was little. I think the Banana Splits were there.

Remember when Star Wars had it’s own aisle?

Still regularly shopped there well into the 90’s. They had about the best videogame selection back in the day.

Last time I was in one, I was looking for Star Wars Viewmaster reels, and had to explain to a confused employee just what Viewmaster is. 😕

Hi, thebutcher! Would you have any interest in taking on combining the best elements out there for the remaining 11 unreleased episodes? I have four I recorded back on S-VHS back in the day, plus an undamaged Lost Continent.
Now that Shout Factory put out a disc with all the host segments from those episodes, it seems like some sort of preservation project is possible now.

I resist the urge to post the outrage of the day but this is messed up (and is one of those quiet policy changes referenced in the article Frink posts):

http://www.tampabay.com/florida-politics/buzz/2018/03/06/trump-blocks-access-to-puppy-mill-inspections-as-florida-weighs-dog-store-legislation/

TL;DR: Admin hiding puppy mill inspection records.

How f*cking mustache twirling evil can Trumpy possibly get?

The animal rights people are going to go ballistic.
