Looks like they had a great time! I want to sit in a life size X-Wing!

New study finds dip shits think they’re better people. Others have more measured opinions.
Therefore, climate change is a hoax.
Indeed, science is overrated.
True, if you believe in science you’re going to hell. Climate’s very warm there.
On the positive side I bet that warming is seen as human caused.
I thought global warming was caused by not believing in Jesus?
Some congressman or senator appearing on CNN a week or so back said belief in climate change was a religion and made a kool-aid remark to boot.
And I only just noticed the THX reference!

I’m a little bummed out there don’t seem to be any 70mm IMAX engagements this time around. Not that I can afford to go up to San Jose twice in a year mostly to see a movie.
I wish I had some Kirby/Lee Fantastic Four comics. Until I get some, I suppose I’ll just settle for John Byrne issues.
I’ve seen a DVD-Rom collection with everything from the beginning through 2004.
New clip!
“The Asteroid Field” theme gave me the biggest, dumbest grin.
The pacing and energy in that scene feels off. Besides the Asteroid Field theme nothing gave me any excitement. Am i dead or is this more about “I have a bad feeling about this movie”?
Has a copy of this book turned up in your home recently?
If so, you’re mostly dead. 😛
I’m already in contact with this guy from United appeal for the dead 😉
The Kentucky Fried Movie skit didn’t even cross my mind last night. Well played, sir!

I thought the T&B cameos were confirmed?
We need a Tag and Bink Are Dead movie!
In before “actually, the real Star Wars day is May 25”
Well personally I do think the May 4th thing is both recent and dumb, but I don’t really care either way.
We are going to an event this weekend where our daughters are going to dress up for the first time (matching Scavenger Rey’s) so that’s cool.
Now there are two of them!
I wonder how the surviving original cast feels about this new version. Billy Mumy won’t even discuss the 1998 film…
Mumy is fine with this version.
😉
And that’s a good thing! A real good thing! 😉
There’s a Russian bot on the site with GOP in its name. Idk what to make of that.
Not anymore.
You’d think at this point Ouija boards would have a warning label on the back. 😉
I don’t even pay attention to who is directing a movie. I usually do a little reading on a movie before I watch it, but I just read the directors name and don’t retain it. Couldn’t tell you if I’ve seen a David Lynch film or not.
You’d remember a Lynch film if you ever saw one. He has a style as unique as Kubrick, who admired Eraserhead enough that he screened it for the cast and crew of The Shining.
Jim and Ken Wheat, the brother team who wrote and co-directed Ewoks: The Battle For Endor went on to pen the screenplay for A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. How does one go from Ewoks to Freddy Krueger?
They also directed the tv movie Free Fall in 1999 featuring a young Hayden Christensen.
But where’s the refresher unit? 😛
I don’t think we’ll be getting space hippies, space hillbillies or Tobor the carrot man in this version. 😛
I wonder how the surviving original cast feels about this new version. Billy Mumy won’t even discuss the 1998 film, but he kind of got screwed out of playing the older Will in that. Jonathan Harris also told them to stick it when approached for a movie cameo. He was to have played the fellow giving Gary Oldman’s Dr. Smith his instructions.
Nothing wrong with being a MOTU fan. 😃
Having watched the table read of Billy Mumy’s never produced LIS reunion/finale tv-movie script that was on the Blu_Ray, I wish some sort of animated adaptation of that could happen while the surviving cast is still around. They had a pretty good sound alike for the late Jonathan Harris.
Was it built out of Lego bricks?
Wow, sounds like the plot for a new Godzilla movie. The Russians have a great track record with nuclear power, so there’s probably nothing to worry about. 😉
Pretty close. 😉
There’s a stop motion animated adaptation of The Nutcracker from Japan that msycamore and I were wanting to restore the American cut from 1979. There was only a Japanese DVD on the market and the Japanese cut is very different. That version got thoroughly mangled by it’s owner for an anniversary re-release. Questionable 3D cgi was added and the original Japanese dub re-recorded with new actors.

Fortunately, there is finally a domestic DVD of the American cut.
And I was thinking only Star Wars had it bad.
I know of at least one movie that’s been altered far worse than even Star Wars.
Maybe an atomic powered vessel? There are a lot of those.
the detachable front section being described as an escape craft.
So I guess the escape pod the Death Star crew assumed they’d escaped in has been gone much longer than they thought…
Several of the escape pods have been jettisoned…
And let’s keep the threadcrapping to a minimum?
