They may have "set up" Brock as Venom. But you still need to "set up" the alien symbiote. Remember? In the comics, Parker gets this alien symbiote suit that can read how he feels and react accordingly. However, when he realizes that it is taking over his mind and body, he tries to get rid of it but it won't leave until the Fantastic Four help him. The suit escapes from the FF and finds its way to Eddie Brock and, hence, we have Venom. You can't just have Brock show up someday in a black suit that has swirling tentacles and can mutate into God only knows what without some kind of explanation as to where it came from.


was that how it went int he series,if i remeber in the cartoon series parker gets it, and they when he finds out that its bad he gets ride of it using sound. then it finds brock who had just lost his job.

Also, what's to stop them from completely altering Black Cat's background? She's not one of the better-known characters in the Spider-Man universe. They could get away with it. And the love triangle would be an interesting twist in a future movie.

As for a villain in S-M 3, I'm pulling for Venom. Don't bring the second coming of Green Goblin into the fold this early. Give him some time to develop his skills. The only downside to Brock as Venom in S-M 3 is that you have to find some way to explain the alien symbiote suit and have it meld with Brock very quickly to make him a viable villian within two and a half hours. Maybe it would be best to resort to Green Goblin II and get the ball rolling with Brock in the movie to set him up for S-M 4. Okay, guess I just contradicted the first couple sentences in this paragraph entirely. C'est la vie.

I've also explained that the reason why I can tolerate the PT better than most is that I try to think of them as movies that are only related to the OT in that they share the name "Star Wars". Otherwise, in my mind, they are a completely separate series of movies. Makes it easier to swallow. I gave up on George completely fulfilling my vision for Star Wars years ago. I don't hold these movies against him, but how can I possibly expect him to incorporate my vision along with millions of other fans' visions in with his? Impossible. They're his movies and he can do with them as he pleases. I will still watch them.

And I've said this, the OT are his movies as well. He can do with them as he pleases. However, since he has released them in theaters in so many different versions, each and every one of those versions should be released for the fans on DVD. Hence why I keep fighting the good fight on this site.


you know bossk it jsut occured to me, reason all the version would just gget him more money.

i think i may have more experence with confrontation with the Manglers. letes see what have they done to me since i started posting,
they shto off my feet
they cut me of into small peice then made a doll of me to sell
motti has shot me at least 20 times
dayv has hit me many times as well
after they ahd gotten me they used some machine to attack my ghost
that is all that i think of off the to of my head but there is many more things.

well eddie brock (vemon) was introduced in the first one



i dont think they wiill use eddie as venom in this movie, i think its going to be the news guys son, the end of this movie must have really made alot of tension between the son and peter for obvious reasons.

I THINK I KNOW WHY SO MANY SW FANS DISLIKED THE PT. IT IS ALL PHYCOLOGICAL.

OT fans dont like the PT cus it is to open, to wide to impersonal. one of the greatest strengths and hooks of the OT was that is was so personal, you had luke han and leia, and you really really got to know them well. they were the heros, and at all key points in the movie all three were directly linvolved inwhat was going on. in the PT it is not longer personal, the only character that we really follow closely is Obi-wan. In the PT events are alover the place, in TPM you have stuff going on on naboo and curosant and tatoone at the same time, key events. in AOTCs you have Obiwan going off on one mission doing one thing, and you have anakin go off on another, they are not together until the end, and i know that there are alot of SW fans that thought that near the end AOFC became very very good. so that is it right there, that is what is different, and its that diference that is aliening the minds of so many fans, they are used to seeing a starwars film that is personal, and they are not getting it, ‘so the PT doesnt fell like a starwars movies’ <- how many times have you heard that b4 lol.

well there it is, that is the reason, and there is nothing wrong with it. So can the PT fans and the OT fan finally just agree to disagree.

am i wishing for too much there lol
