Notice i said the word "hopefully". i didn't give 2 weeks as a definite release date, and at the moment i am still unable to give an exact date because there is still work going on with the DVD structure and i still have 1 more shot left to finish on the video side of things and i haven't even had a chance to start the painting for the cover yet. Things are just taking a little longer than i had anticipated, so please be patient.

So is another two weeks about when it will happen, or should we say another month? Which is more a possiblility?

It would be nice if could get an exact release date, Ady said almost two weeks ago that it would be a couple of weeks, so any day now if his word holds true.

That starwarslegacy.com site hasn't been updated in ages, but Ady has done some of the same things the guy on there did. The big difference is that Ady kept most of the SE editions and added some of his own, while that guy wanted only to preserve the original versions, he only fixed some matte lines and color issues.

Ady has plans on doing ESB and ROTJ as well.

And I cannot wait for Ady's ESB and ROTJ EDITIONS!

But how else were they supposed to do those characters? A puppet or person in suit was the only way they had to do it, people complain about CG, puppets, or People in rubber masks! What else is there?

Ady, I noticed in the latest clip during the space battle in a couple of quick had shots of Luke in the X-Wing you could see black with no stars behind Luke, one shot happens about a second before you hear the line, "Red 2 have you seen Red 5?".

Well I tried both burning in both 16:9 and 4:3 formats, when I play it on my standard TV it still crops too much picture, making it around a 1:85 ratio.

I burnt a DVD and the clips came out as cropped 1:85 (16:9) rather than the around 2:35 correct widescreen format on my TV, I selected 4:3 mode when I burned it, because I have a standard 4:3 TV set. What should I do to get the entire 2:35 shown on my TV? Burn another DVD, but what format/setting? I used WINDOWS DVD MAKER.

that may be the case and it's probably how Lucasfilm explains it away , but it still looks like bad continuity

Well, the one in Return of the Jedi (Seen in Jabba's Palace) needs changed too. Same Rodian uniform.

What clips were you using of Kenobi saying the word "I"? I know he says "I" several times during the trilogy. Three that I can think of off hand.

Actually most of the dialogue in the OT was VAGUE enough to give the prequels a lot of wiggle room. It didn't really get very specific. You can draw a lot of conclusions in your mind from vague statements, and when they didn't match what you wanted, you scream contradiction.

Also if you want to get a clip of James Earl Jones saying "Your Mother..." Look no further than CD set of him Reading The New Testement of the bible. He says that at least twice on the cd set You might be able to put it with his ROTJ conversation with Luke. Luke says "Come with me" as Padme also said, then Vader repies "Obi-Wan once thought as you do." Which could be changed to "Your mother once thought as you do." Which seems to fit better.

along with some changes Luke & Leia's conversation in ROTJ about their mother. 2 huge continuity errors that were caused only by the prequels( didn't Lucas even know his own films???) but the first is easier to fix in the OT than the PT, but other problems can be fixed in the PT when i finally get around to them.

Ummmm now I don't wanna se that conversation omitted, Leia simply said she remembered her mother through "Just images really....feelings."

2 quick questions Ady,

Does Kenobi now say "I wanted you to have this when you were old enough." I was thinking you could get the "I" from I was once a Jedi Knight the same as your father."

And did you remember to change rebel pilots helmet logos from blue to red during the medals ceremony at the end? There are some in the audience.
