STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

It may not be too nice to be called a nitpicker, but then, this is possibly the most nitpicky thread I've ever seen in my life. And if I brought up any examples, it would start the nerdy arguments all over again. Ha! ;)

I mostly see it as heaps of praise with a teaspoon of badly worded commentary on top. I know that teaspoon can seem huge, but hopefully not in this case.

I'm imagining a ROBOT CHICKEN skit: a Cloud City resident decides to commit suicide and jumps down the shaft, only to get sucked out the door and gets hooked onto the vane. Then he sees the Millenium Falcon approaching the city... the whole thing could be him trying to get back in and failing horribly, only to hear the door beginning to open, out comes Luke, who lands on top of him and... what do you know! THAT is what is falling away from Luke!

I was reminded of the time when Homer's head was stuck in the drawbridge. Could've happened to Luke or the jumper. :p

"You said crush to him, right?"
"NO!"
"You're the boss."

The Ric Olie Observation Thread

I'm going to stick with my new avatar for a while, but that one will be next...

I'd be honored, sir! :) I'd do one of him with his helmet on, but it would cover way too much of his face. I could use him as a base for a standard non-handsome, non-observant Naboo pilot, though.

P.S. Anyone in particular in that pic, or just a standard ollie/ollié? <-- Woo!

Trick invented by Alan "Olié" Gelfand. Heh heh.

I still have one of the OE sets on my desktop, but I can't remember which version it is! :p The date is November 30, 2009, so would that be version 2 or 3? I think it's 3. At any rate, this Audiophile Edition is the one I'm looking forward to the most! Great project!

P.S. That's a Mussorgsky LP in your avatar, isn't it? :)

Well, I thought I was the only one who appreciated Pictures At An Exhibition. That is the best recording ever, and Claudio Abbado delivers.

I noticed your classic LP avatar afterwards. Good stuff.

One night/morning around 1 AM, well after the rest of my family was asleep, I was sitting on the floor listening to "Bad Horsie" by Steve Vai with my Toshiba, fairly loud. I had on some bassy headphones and somehow didn't realize right away that not only was the sound coming through the headphones, but also the speakers! I started feeling the vibrations on the floor and thought "uh oh!" I'm sure everyone woke up, but they didn't say anything in the morning. :p

Funny how the maximum volume is 0, too. Whatever happened to 11?!

I think that out of the 6 receivers I've had, only the first one--an ancient Toshiba or something that I kinda miss--had positive numbers. Hadn't really thought of it before.

Update: I found a pic of my first receiver! (and I wish I could see the volume knob area better)

Weighed a TON. My uncle had the exact same one, which is part of why I got mine. I knew it was a good machine. He gave me a pair of his speakers to use with mine, too.

Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! ***

I can contact them (ThrowgnCpr and/or boon) for you, if you want. It just looks so pro compared to some random torrent. Haha. They even put a separate download link for box/disc art with nice big preview pics, too.

People also rely on the reviews there, too, whereas with torrents, you get almost no feedback, and when you do, it's usually some technical stuff or jerks being jerky.
