It's Meerkat Pandemonium 2010!
It's Meerkat Pandemonium 2010!
"Stole" is such a harsh word...
We need to lighten the mood!
???
^Yeah, that happens every time there's a wedding. Go figure.
"CF Vernon Wells had a strong reaction to Sunday's homer by INF John McDonald. "We cried on each others' shoulders for a good 30 seconds," he said. "It was one of the most amazing moments I've seen in baseball. It put everything in perspective on the day and on the game. When that happened, it gave us goosebumps." McDonald's father had died the week before of cancer. McDonald hit his first homer of the season on Father's Day."
:)
In reality, tons of solutions have been proposed, but BP doesn't seem to care.
Partly cuz he was tall and lean, unlike some of them?
P.S. Not trying to sound..."funny", but has anyone else noticed how baggy the pants have gotten? They used to be like diving suits. (except for guys like David Wells and John Kruk, of course) Think that has something to do with de-emphasizing the physiques, many of which would draw steroid chants? :p
I guess Wigginton plays second far more than first, cuz he does have 13. :p
I watched the 30 for 30 special "June 17, 1994" last night and one of the things mentioned was that Griffey had 30 homers by that date! :o I know that year was nutty for homers, but still! I dunno if that's still a record.
Yeah, that too! :p
I never really noticed it in baseball, but I still remember Jermaine O'Neal was the first NBA player I can remember that was the same age as me at the time (18) entering the league. Know what I mean? Like, growing up, they're always older than you, then finally 'hey, that guy is the same age as me.' :p

Every time I see Jose Bautista's name on the Blue Jays, I think he's still Tony Bautista!
[it's Batista, but the point stands] That guy was awesome. Great stance and surprising power.

Kids today...
Indeed. ;)
I think that'd be the current one, who played with Florida from 1998-2005. Unless there's another one!
tehparadox. I mentioned it 3 posts up. ;)

The Angels have another relief pitcher named Francisco Rodriguez. How random is that?
Yeah, it's funny when that happens. I've seen teams where they have to add the player's first initial to his name on the back, or even one time (with Isaiah Thomas, I think), were his jersey said Isaiah Thomas on the back.
And the Jays are on their second shortstop named Alex Gonzalez. (the current one has accents over the As, though)

I found some myself that you guys didn't even hear
That's kinda good and bad at the same time. Haha. Anyway, congrats on such a big breakthrough!
"The fact that he was listed in Saturday's initial lineup indicates that the injury probably isn't very serious..."
Hopefully!
No problem. Though we can't link to torrents/rapidshare downloads directly, we have the go ahead to mention sites. From there, people just have to search for 'adywan' or whatever. Haha. ;)
Jered Weaver had an outstanding game for me (other league): 7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 11 Ks! Didn't have Abreu in, though... (4/5, 2 R)
Just check out places like tehparadox (there for sure) and demonoid.
You really need to put that in your sig, or at least update the first post. ;)
I'd love to donate immediately, but if I do, I probably wouldn't have enough in my account for the car payment. Haha.
