I thought the DTVs were ok, but not particularly memorable. Felt forced sometimes. The first few episodes of the latest season, however, were pretty great, I thought. Some fresh ideas.
I need to buy the season set. They didn't air them up here and still haven't, as far as I know.
My friend played in the band at school and they did the music for Guys and Dolls. They did a great job. I later watched the Brando/Sinatra movie version and dug that too. Saw a high school production of Annie too, but that's about it.
Oh, they did a couple of musicals on Scrubs! :D

Reminds me of some of the militant types that were on the original Iron Chef, trying to say that it's wrong to go beyond the most traditional of dishes. Yet they belong to a school with 1,000 chefs doing nothing but traditional dishes. People will never forget the foundations, but they seem to think they will.
