THE STAR WARS SAGA - 1080P AVCHD DVD-9 for PS3 & Blu-Ray players - Episodes 1, 4 & 5 available now
Time

500GB? Very nice. It's cool that people are able to do that with the current systems.

I keep thinking of the possibilities of Blu-Ray discs, and one I just thought of is that once Ady is done with the trilogy (or saga?), the three movies could be put on one BR disc. Maybe just add a simple menu and maybe a couple of goodies.

Oh yes. I did see that a bit on the test version, especially during closeups of the actors sometimes. I appreciate how well thought out it is. The editing goes far beyond color and filter changes.

My two favorite audio moments are still the way the sound syncs in the pod race (perfectly timed ending!) and the way that "Lapti Nek" is introduced. :)

I don't really see the problem with that guy. I mean, you don't want him to sound dumb, but you don't want him to sound like he's sassing the princess, either. His delivery should be fairly flat with a hint of incredulousness to it, which is pretty much what it is right now.

Yes, it will be in motion. (Sorry Ripplin.)

Oh, I'm sure I'd enjoy both. I just wonder if applying filters to a whole movie like that could be...too much? Know what I mean?

Would be fun as an alternate version. Would it basically be the regular one with filters applied, or do you plan on dong something different with it, story or time-wise?

I've now watched this latest 'test' version and it looks very good! I like how you changed the colors at the right times, giving different places a theme. (Tatooine yellow, Kashyyyk green, underwater blue, etc...) I could see some spots where you did some creative panning, too.

I saw five instances where the dialogue should be tweaked (I think it was just an oversight in a couple of cases, as I think they were already changed on the first edition), so I'll PM you about it.

If you can implement the changes, that would be great. I would think there's enough time to do it, anyway. I hope I can have a last look at Part 2 before the final release, too.

I think you should use the announcer audio from the SE trailers.  I really like the "And a few new surprises."  It would really work well with your trailer, I'm sure!

Great idea!

I'm paraphrasing here, but 'for an entire generation, people have watched Star Wars the only way it's been possible...[with a horrible blue tint job.] But if [that's the way you've been forced to watch it], you haven't seen it at all!'

I complicated the editing process to a point you can't imagine!

Reminds me of when I started doing transparencies for pictures. I would do this long, stupid process that was not always 100% successful. Then I started using another method and it's SO easy now! It's nice to find the easy way, but a little frustrating at the same time. ;)
