THE OT SOUNDTRACKS SALVAGE - SWESBROTJ -"remastered"(so far)+ LP's (Released)
Time

I'm looking through the Empire SE booklet and the only thing it has as far as individual recording dates is "Recorded at Anvil Studios, Denham, England and at EMI/Abbey Road Studios, London, England December 27, 28, & 29, 1979 and January 7, 8, 9, 10, 17, & 18, 1980"

Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? (I can write out the Jedi one too, if you want) That's as specific as it gets.

P.S. What's with the __________ in the thread title? Kinda weird. ;)

I noticed on the 1080p Episode 1 thread recently, that Ripplin jokingly (I think) suggested a 'Blu, not Blue!' campaign request should be taken up. But seriously, one of the worst aspects of the SE DVD release was the awful colouration that was evident throughout.

I was half joking, I suppose. ;) It was more about the pun, but seriously, it kinda makes sense, as long as the Blu-Ray versions don't have the blue tint as well...(who knows?!)

I dunno, I think I feel like everyone else in that my trust in LFL releasing a quality version of the movies gets lower every time they do release something. If they're not even putting the proper effort into the version that George himself wants out there, what hope is there for any other version? :p

I'll probably play Zero after 3. I've had it for a while but haven't gotten into it yet.

By language, I mean the 'b' words, hell, damn... To me, that's not Earthbound, and completely unnecessary. Word-for-word translation can't really be done, so are they just throwing those in to "spice" it up? Nintendo wouldn't have done it. The only thing I can think of in Earthbound that came even close to bad language was 'crap.'

^That's true. It's hard sometimes when we don't get a daily update. Haha.

It's still great to throw ideas around, but now that the matter is somewhat closed, it should maybe be done somewhere else ('Can anything be done...' etc...) I still figure someone will make a post ANH:R version of their own. We know that Adywan has given his blessing for serious editors to use it as a base, and there have been tons of great ideas that could be implemented.

I wish I had seen it in the theater. :p

For me, I can just tell not even having seen it (but by some things I've read) that there's a lot of goofiness in it, as there was in the first one. I should ask Reave if he plans on doing an edit. He did a great job with the first one! It's like we were on the same wavelength. (I would have kept the 'probably Japanese' line, though)

The Rocketeer would be an interesting project, see that is why I like this thread,it is hard to know what is different all over.

I love that movie so much! (what did you mean by "project" specifically, though?) I love this thread, too. ;) I've learned a fair amount already.

One release that is quite different is the animated version of The Tick. In North America, we only have the first two seasons, and each of those is missing an episode. ("The Tick vs. The Mole-Men" on S1 and "Alone Together" on S2) However...in Region2land, you can get the complete series!
