I actually noticed it a LONG time ago and kept forgetting to say something.

This is some of the coolest news I've heard in a while! :) Hope the mailing goes well. Maybe you can let us know who will be mailing them out from the States. Not a big deal, really, I just think it would be neat if it was one of the many people here I've traded with in the past.

WHOA! The notifications are back with a vengeance! I just came home and found 188 new messages in my inbox, all from OT.com! :p

That sounds about right for me too. I'm glad I'm not alone, to be honest. Even YOU aren't getting them. That seems even weirder!

This sort of thing happened to me on another forum, but got resolved after some tweaking. I'm sure it'll be fixed in time here, too. :)

Having to do the 'view image' thing is a slight hassle, but not a big deal. I'm sure it'll get sorted eventually. The thing now that's really annoying is that I'm not getting any e-mail notifications anymore! :(

Well, looks like that didn't change anything. Davnes just posted in the Adywan Ep. V thread a couple of minutes ago and I haven't been notified. I checked the setting for receiving e-mail notifications and made sure I'm still subscribed to the thread and everything is unchanged.

I hope we can figure this out, cuz man... :S

Maybe it's just me, but if I ever want to PM someone, it seems I have to find a post they've made and do it using the links there. If I click on their name, which shows their profile, I can't do anything. It would be great if a PM link could be added to the prfile pages. ;)

Ok, I just updated Firefox (to 3.5.3), cleared 'everything' in the cache, then restarted Firefox. We shall see...

I have the same problem. I figured something was wrong at this end! :p I'll try clearing the cache and report back...

ADYWAN, y'hear that? :) Sounds like a great, and very reasonable, idea! I'd love to hear your commentary as you watch the movie for the first time since you finished it. You haven't watched it again yet, right? I have a feeling it could have some hilarious moments. We'd probably hear your frustrations and such, too.

I'm glad the colors are the same too. Still looks good and everything is easy to read. :) And don't forget that Jay mentioned he'll be adding the ability to turn avatars on and off separately for the topics and thread pages.

I kinda/sorta mentioned this in my Picture Problems thread too, but you beat me to it. I just joked that I tried rubbing my eyes, but it didn't help. :p

Anyway, I could go either way. 80x80 was fine by me, and 100x100 is ok, but I figure most won't bother re-editing their avatars and will leave them blurry. And we can't change them for now anyway.

This is for everyone to see, though Jay is already either partially or totally aware of the problems. ;)

- Some pictures are not working and others are a bit broken. Vaderios posted an Imageshack link that only partially shows, as we can't scroll to the right to see the rest. It just gets cut off. And all of his old pictures are invisible.
- Some people who don't use avatars (RoccondilRinon, for example) have long white bars appearing in the space where an avatar would go.
- All of our avatars are slightly blurry now. I tried rubbing my eyes, but no dice! Haha.

I'm sure these are easy to fix. Glad to hear we'll be able to shut off avatars on the topics pages too, cuz I find it looks quite cluttered, especially with the avatar issues. Sorry, just not a fan of this new feature.

Actually, the image you are referring to is his newest which is on Imageshack. It won't let you scroll due to something in the forum software, yes. His older images are blank spaces.

 

Oh, sorry, I missed that. Just want to acknowledge that I saw what you're saying so others don't jump on the 'they're all broken' bandwagon. ;)

"Several topics for several bugs " is why I didn't post there because I didn't want to clutter things up with multiple threads. :p I can if you want, but might be faster/easier for you to just reply to my concerns in one post if you want. I'll defer to your judgment.

I love the fact that we can delete multiple PMs at once. Thank you, Jay! :)

A few observations:

- Hitting enter still puts you down two lines rather than one (holding shift while you hit enter works, but it's still a bit odd). Not a big deal, but this is still the only place I can ever remember posting to that does that.
- 005 mentioned Vaderios' pictures not working. They work for me (in Firefox 3.5), but get cut off at the edge of the box. It won't allow me to scroll to the right to see the whole thing as before, so I'm missing half of his mock-up every time. I'm wondering now if that would apply to any wide picture...
- The avatar beside the thread title thing is unnecessary, in my opinion. It makes things look cluttered, especially when the avatars aren't displaying properly. (some only show as a long white bar)
- All of our avatars are slightly blurry now. Maybe I just need to rub my eyes. Haha. ;)

Oh, and:

- I spilled some garbage juice in the kitchen last night and it still stinks in here.

Pretty late entry, but I knew I wanted to make it even if I had to wait a while:

That does add a lot, and it's a fairly simple tweak. :) I dunno if I like the beams for the holo-projector (maybe just one pointing straight up underneath the image?), but it certainly fits with earlier examples, like R2's projector.

Funny, I checked the archives and missed it, I guess. It's a cool blog! I've bookmarked it for further perusal.
