a-ha! I'll have to look that up too.

Exactly. ;) I wonder what it was he watched. Please tell us, rcb.

James May's series where he takes extreme measures to try and re-introduce the toys of his youth to a new generation is a real pick me up.
I missed it first time and if any of you get a chance to see it I highly recommend it.
I have the first 6 downloaded, but haven't watched yet. Can't wait to see the Lego house episode. I've seen an article about it, along with a picture, sot hat was a bit of a spoiler, but that's ok.
I found my Star Wars readalong vinyl. Only two; "Planet of the Hoojibs" and "The Ewoks Join the Fight". The weirdest one is "Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell", which is a cassette, but was in the packaging of an LP.
What trailer?

It already has. Remember the painting incident? I believe ANH:R was being sold in China as well.
no? , I guess I were not a member at that time..do tell ! :)
I've been searching, but can't find his exact quote. Basically, he was at a comic convention or some such thing and saw a guy selling ANH:R. He kept an eye on him and long story short, when the authorities were brought over, the guy said regarding Adywan's identity 'prove it.' So Ady called his wife and she brought over the actual painting that's featured on the cover. :)
...would be nice. ;) The ability to search keywords by username, specific forums, arrange search results by date, etc... I don't know if it's possible with this software, but just putting bugs in ears here.

it was just a matter of time before it started to happen to Ady's works

I have personally never charged anyone for any costs when i have sent someone a copy of my work, even when i have sent them overseas.
And we all appreciate it very much!
"He" is making money hand over fist using other people's work. To send even 3 or 4 discs from the States costs less than $2, plus what does a single DVD-R cost nowadays, 20 cents? And $10 to print a cover?! Does he use special ink laced with platinum? Man...
Is it someone here that goes by the name Zappaf at mybrute?
Haha, nice find, Deadmeat.
Funny I see your name now, as my friend was just telling me about how his son named his first goldfish. He picked "Fishy" and the father was like "surely you can be more creative than that", so the boy thought for a second and said "dead meat."

Are you looking for that one because you're a fan of Tijuana Brass, or Dolores Erickson?
;-)
Well, it is good music, and it is a good cover... So to answer your question, yes.
Or Han saying to Lando "what's going on...buddy?"
Ok, a bit of a stretch.
Wow, beyond the nice color correction itself, I love how much lighter everything is. Shows more detail and makes it look much more like they're in burning sunlight! :p
Man, I haven't been on a plane since 1998, which was pre-heightened paranoia. I think it just depends on the person you get, as some would be more reasonable than others, just like border crossings.
I sure was surprised when version 2.0 of Deleted Magic was released with the "Revisited" title. Surely they could have thought of something else! It just looks like they're piggybacking on your success. And now look what has happened. I sincerely hope OCP itself hasn't done this. It's probably just some clueless moron.
The fur looks nice. Just keep the grape juice away from it. :)
Your first comment reminds me a Steven Wright joke: "You can't have everything. Where would you put it?" :)
Besides the 'time travel' feel, CDs also lose a lot when it comes to album art. There are some that I wish I could see in 12" x 12" format. The art is a big part of the reason why I'm getting vinyl.
^I believe Adywan went with the 'sarcastic' explanation, too.
To me, I don't really see how it matters too much. What Obi-Wan would really like to be able to call him is Anakin, but "he's more machine now than man, twisted and evil." Therefore, 'Darth, Vader, whatever you are...'

I have often thought of digging through the massive piles of vinyl they have at places like Good Will, but have always found the massive piles too overwhelming and time consuming to mess with.
Yeah, it did take me a long time last time I was there, but it was worth it, as it was in a town 45 minutes away and I hardly ever go there. If it was local, though, I'd probably go often enough to [hopefully] spot the new stuff by itself.
Oh, and I totally forgot about the old Star Wars read along albums! I actually had more of them on cassette than vinyl. I can't remember which were which now. I'll have to go look.
Keep in mind I live in a very small town and only started buying them a few months ago. Doesn't matter how cheap they are if you can't find them. ;)
I would like some more rock and metal for sure. I hope I can get more Van Halen. Deep Purple would be nice. Same with Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

My last ESB restoration project has been mostly saved by the 1985 CD pressing and the 7FN LP's transfers... Do you believe it ?!! I think it's really not serious. If these transfers had no cracklings they probably filled almost the half of my edit.
Just shows us again that newer isn't always better. The SE soundtracks are proof of that! :p
Thought it might be fun to discuss our record collections. I have been building up a small collection for the past few months. I get most of them pretty cheap at thrift stores. (Goodwill, Value Village, Salvation Army, etc...)

Yeah, but I share my random thought of the moment: it deserves a topic. Definitively.
I can't tell if you're serious or not! Haha. But seriously, it might be fun to have a thread about our vinyl record collections. It's still a very popular format. :)

he tells me he speaks 3/4 French, 1/4 English
I never said that. I AM 3/4 French (both paternal grandparents), 1/4 Scottish (maternal grandfather).
Oh, and that was from a PM. You know, private message.
And who cares if I've mentioned my LPs a few times? If the situation fits, why not?
