Star Wars DVD Covers
Time
Hey there gang!

I have my gmail account all ready to go again so IF you'd like to add your covers to the next Covers Torrent please email me at BLAKSVN at GMAIL.COM - tiff, Jpeg, or any format will work - jpeg would be best

I have also uploaded a PSD Template - (right-click-save-as) to help make some covers!

ALSO

PLEASE send me ANY high-rez poster art that you may have again - I would like to include as many HQ posters or other art for covers in the next torrent SO PLEASE PLEASE if you have any HQ art please mail that over to BLAKSVN at GMAIL.COM and I will add these to the next torrent!

Thanks gang - Without all your help and support I would not be able to keep all this up.

P.S. - IF you do mail either covers, poster or art PLEASE include the artists name with the submissions!!

IF it is for sure Super-8 then yes it can be done!! - AND MAYBE still be able to put them back togather again!!

Well talk soon

Enough talk!!!!! - I've busted out on old transfer but this thing has some GREAT quality and the PCM audio retained the CX encoded surround better then other transfers (ON my system anyway!) anyway these are the details...

MBJ, myself and a select few have been sitting on this as we all knew that there are even GREATER transfers to come from the upcoming XO Transfer - THIS is only a taste of what's to come...

- I'll post a VOB sample later tonight!!

THIS DVD is a PROTOTYPE and is now almost a year old but this one STILL blows away most if not all of the other sets... We've been sitting on this as there are even GREATER transfers to come from the upcoming XO Transfer.

Info Wanted: The 1997 Special Edition on DVD?
Time
This would be why...

The “GKar” Edition = Great set BUT has a Deutsch title-crawl, real cool and all and it's great preservation of the German set but not the SE LD's that I have.

HK "5-Star Collection" DVD9 Edition = This is a sweet set BUT its Dual Layer and it's NOT a very cheap set to share or copy for others as they do require Dual Layer media and they (asian DVD9's) are getting harder to buy as the asian "suppliers" have replaced them with DVD9 silvers of the real DVD's (that and the shrunk quality really sucks!)

The HK "LOOK" DTS Edition = shot DTS audio, tinny DD audio and the colors are screwy with every side change.

REIVAX = Only has ANH so far and French subtitles over the crawl (correct?)

They have a LD version

Release Format: Laserdisc

Release Date: 1985

Studio: CBS/FOX

Technical Comments: 1.33:1 pan and scan transfer with CX-encoded Stereo Surround sound

Comments: Three Standard-Play CAV discs (Cat# 1425-84)

Other Comments: This edition is not time compressed and also marks the first time ever that fans can analyze the film frame-by-frame (thanks to the CAV format)

THANKS to davisdvd.com for the info!!!!!!!!!!

That's odd - I send DVD's to Oz all the time for only $5 for upto 15 plain DVD's and I've now sent my external HD down there twice to a Datsun buddy (racing footage and automotive PDF's) for only $10 each time using the large Global Flat Rate with the HD packed on a HD sized box. (upto 4 pounds ) - I think he said it cost $12 to send it back to me.

Are you guys getting and shipping stuff shipped via Express or what? I did THAT once and it cost me $36!

I will be doing both newsgroups and torrents (well I have a friend I can ask to post on the newsgroups)

Laserman - newsgroups are awesome but 80% of the readers on these boards have no idea how to use these (myself included) PLUS there are fees with most of these services (right?) while torrents can be grabbed by ANYONE with a broadband connection.

I think that I will upload it to at least 2 sites and MAYBE I can talk a few others into upping it on other sites (or do a decentralized torrent via azarius)
