- Problem solved!

The guy removed the auction and has promised to lower the price and to remove all my info

Like I said a million times in the past THESE HAVE to get out there but please try to keep the prices low - I've now had my brother put up an auction for BUY-IN-NOW fpr only $.99 cents + shipping as well as information to get the FREE downloads!

As for the next Covers Torrent

I should be uploading it within the next 2-3 weeks - I would like to add that if you would like to submit a cover for the collection please email them to BLAKSVN (at) GMAIL.COM with your information (so I can credit you).

CUSTOM COVER SUGGESTED GUIDELINES
These are not necessary but do make it easier to print the proper size cover and for you to receive proper credit.

SUGGESTED COVER SIZES @ 300 DPI

I’ve found these three sizes to be the most common sizes used by designers – DO NOT use 150 DPI as it is really not up to high quality printing.

Single case: 3240 x 2188 pixels or 10.8 x 7.293 inches (Meritline and most other $30 for 100 cases)

Or

Single case: 3240 x 2175 pixels or 10.75 x 7.1 inches (Amaray and Next Pax)

Or

Single case: 3225 x 2130 pixels or 10.75 x 7.1 inches (Maxell cases)

SUGGESTED FILE FORMATS

JPEG is the most common as it offers great quality and a manageable file size (1.5 – 5 MB each) but TIFF is another acceptable format as it offer the best resolution and color management but the file size is not really dial-up friendly (10-30MB each)

SUGGESTED NAMING FORMAT

IF possible when submitting a cover please try to name your covers something like what is shown below, this is in order to ensure that you do receive proper credit for your works. Also try to pack all the covers into a Folder named in a similar fashion the either ZIP or RAR the files (with the best compression set).

Or

RowMan Bonus IV – by Georgie.jpg

MONITOR SETTINGS FOR BEST COLORS

1. First adjust your monitor
a. Set your monitor's color temperature (white point) to 6500K
b. Set your monitor's brightness control (SO misleading - this is really your black level )
c. Set up your viewing light (do not have lights pointed directly on your monitor and avoid reflections from rear lights)

2. Now, go adjust your television also

Keep up the work gang and I look forward to all your covers being added to the Covers Collection for the FALL Covers torrent!

EVEN COOLER UPDATE

I just got the S1 EXTENDED The International Salkind Cut Recorded as aired in 1982 on AUSTRALIAN TV and IT looks GREAT for a 23 years old FIRST GENERATION VHS copy! (IMHO )

PLEASE keep in mind the transfer is from a 23 years old VHS...

SO...

IN PRODUCTION -
Superman: The Movie - The International Salkind Cut (NON-Composite)
Angrysun DVD authoring & PAL to NTSC of a Darth Anonymous VHS transfer

Running Time: 188 minutes (NTSC)

This alternate and VERY, VERY rare Recorded as aired NON-composite version includes all known footage. As the film and its sequels enjoyed its popularity in the early 1980’s, producers Alexander and Ilya Salkind took it upon themselves to prepare the film for its eventual television broadcast. In order to market the film to television stations around the world, the Salkinds re-edited the film with approximately 45 minutes of additional footage not released in theaters. Whereas Richard Donner had complete directorial control in editing the film for theatrical release, the Salkinds had control of the film for international distribution and television marketing, and the film was re-edited without Donner’s approval. The added footage brought the running time of the film to 188 minutes, the longest known version of the film to be assembled and shown to audiences around the world.

In addition to the many added scenes, a number of musical cues from John Williams’ original soundtrack were restored to the film, some of them not heard in the theatrical release of the film nor on the popular two-disc soundtrack album. Additional cues underscoring scenes on Krypton, the planet’s destruction, and Otis’ journey through the Metropolis subway tunnels were heard for the first time, while other cues underscoring the launch of Kal-El’s starship, Superman intercepting and hurling the missile into space, the aftershocks of the earthquake, and Superman in action, all previously heard on the original soundtrack album, were restored to the context of the film.

***The Official "Willard: The Ratman's Cut" Info & Feedback thread***
Time
Very nice work Rev!!!

I’ve had the DVD now for maybe over a week (or so) and I finally dropped this in.

Well to start I have to say that I was a HUGE fan of the original movie (I was about 11 when I first saw the film on a Saturday Monster Movie show that they aired in Colorado Springs) but the remake was incredible! With Glen Morgan (of Space Above and Beyond, X-Files and Millennium fame) directing & writing the screenplay and with James Wong (the other half of one of the greatest SciFi teams ever - second to Niven & Pournelle ) as producer, I expected a lot going into the film, and it was more then expected!

The cinematography and lighting REALLY make this version so much more gloomy and dark then its predecessor and with Crispin Glover playing Willard it’s even creepier. (yikes I almost went into a full review of the film!) DOH!

BACK to the edit…

Anyway with the added scenes you really can feel the characters so much more like the odd chemistry that Willard and Cathryn share (the extended after hours office scene is sweet!), and if you disliked Willard’s boss Mr. Martin (R. Lee Ermey – HE SHOULD have been Jedi Master Mace Windu IMHO!!) in the original cut you’ll really enjoy his demise even more now that his hatred for Willard is showcased in the all to brief alternate scene where he fires Willard.

In closing, the edits are near seamlessly cut into the film and really do add to the overall dark gothic feel and is a MUST HAVE if you enjoyed the remake or the original 1971 film and I’ve added this DVD to my upload pile and it’s NEAR the top!!!!!!

- Exquisite work my friend!!!!!!

This edit rates a big ass Diggity!

Well the disc I'm working on started as a project for my friend Josh who had a VERY specific idea of what he wanted for his DVD. I have used the SUPER AWESOME Dark Jedi transfer (the best damn transfer of this PERIOD!) and I was only gonna give a few people copies, but if there is interest who knows?

ANYWAY - It's a Dark Jedi & Blaksvn Joint Production or DARK/SVN LTD. and will be released under the Angrysun Unauthorized Collection banner

Here are some samples of the many covers for it (I have 12 faces for this cover)

This cover matches the menus that Josh wanted

Crazy!

I found that same cover about 6 months ago and then made a larger version with slighty better scans then I changed the back to what I felt just looked and felt better - MOST important I used the Proper Criterion logo and realese number #69 for the CLV LD the transfer was made from - I did the cover about 6 months ago (I just fixed a few things a few days ago as I'm doing a version on DVD also ).

Check out the sample...
