I was holding back on posting this as I had planned on bidding and I would buy it (again and sell it again - My old LD transfers were done with a dazzle USB thingy) IF I had the chucks to throw at it...

THE MAKING OF STAR WARS (SPFX: Empire) Laserdisc!!!!!!!!!

- I'll transfer it again onto single layer (2 discs) and also on a dual layer also and kick down TWO full color covers

Honestly, I just like DL media and these are really more JUST for me BUT this would also be the first OT capture that I'd be willing to release (the last kinda blew) - IF you were intersted you could author as DL then spread the raw files of 2 standard DVD's and I'll reconstruct them (I'll even provide the discs if you'd like ), I'm still going to complete them and have some menus all set-up but they just lack the flair of yours; I'd just really would like them to have menus that rock! - And as for the Arrival LD, it has the making of and some other extars that I'd like to get on one disc if possible - NOW If I can get this CCE encoder to work right I might have single layer versions also...

I have about 85% of the DVD's on the forum (except the DigitalfreakNYC releases and some of the later DVD's here on the forum) but for the last moth or two I've been trading and sending off DVD's (about 30 of them) but I've only gotten back about 3 of 25 DVD's I was told that I should expect (I doubt that I will ever see them or that lightsaber trade either).

Superman II and Superman III extended (Released)
Time
I just finished the Making of Superman DVD!!!!!!!

NEW -
The Making of Superman I, II and III (Upgraded Version!)
Angrysvn DVD authoring of a Darth Anonymous VHS Transfer of Making 1 & 2 and an Ash595 Beta Transfer of Making S3

New upgraded version includes a new transfer of the Making of Superman I & II (less jitter in tape!), a PAL to NTSC conversion of Making of Superman III and all four movie trailers!

Making I - Ernie Anderson narrates this look at the making of Richard Donner's blockbuster 1978 film. Behind-the-scenes footage, as well as scenes from the film, reveals just how audiences were able to "believe a man can fly". This program features interviews with key cast and crew.

Making II - This documentary treats movie fans to a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Superman II, in which a gang of criminals from Superman's home planet arrive on Earth to begin terrorizing the Man of Steel's adopted home. Included are interviews with the cast and crew who share their experiences from making the film, as well as discuss the efforts that went into it.

Making III - This documentary treats movie fans to a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Superman III, a more comical take on the superhero story in which the Man of Steel takes on a supercomputer and its bumbling programmer. Included are interviews with the cast and crew who share their experiences from making the film, as well as discuss the efforts that went into it.

Cool, My brother was working on a H1 & H2 Edit about two years ago but gave up as the sources were SO different so he did a H1 TV and H2 TV cut on VHS and there is another version that I have called the "The Ultimate Complete TV Cut" it was released by the guys over at ultimatekiller.com.

I would like to do an edit of this also but I plan on incorparating the footage from the H1 TV cut, H1 THX and the H2 THX - MAYBE after the new year but I have a great idea of how I'd like it to play out!

And also - THE ARRIVAL: Pioneer Special Edition (with dual audio - commentary track)

They will all be dual layer discs and I'm kicking the idea around to include a Isolated Score on the SW LD's, I only has SW captured and it will be a few weeks before they are all done so you would have time to finish your other projects if you would like to help out - I'm just floored by your menu work man!!

Surely then, this negates your Japanese cut of Kill Bill, because it is officially available. Unless your version has something over the official version?

In Japan or Germany - I own both the Euro Versions of the DVD but the US version does not over the UNCUT film at this time - I will remove it the day it comes out

- Are we in a contest that I was not aware of, and if so what is the prize? Is it cash???

I just read that you were going to upload the PAL version of the making of by itself but DID you also make a version with both S3 & the Making of S3 on one NTSC Dual Layer DVD?

- NOPE, It's not from either of you guys (so I'm now an IT???) - It's from another source tape and the screen captures above are from my RE-ENCODED version that's only 2 gigs - I also have a 4+ gig NTSC version

***The Official ANGRYSVN UNAUTHORIZED COLLECTION*** Release Thread
Time
Well I figure it also time to have a thread that lists a few of the NON-STAR WARS inspired DVD's that I've created...

Angrysvn Productions Presents The Unauthorized Collection, a continuing series of fan created preservation efforts, is dedicated to gathering the greatest lost, uncut, alternate and broadcasted programs from around the world and publishing them in editions that offer the highest quality (when applicable) transfers. Angrysvn Productions began with a mission to put these titles into the hands of as many collectors as possible. All of the transfers published under the Angrysvn banner represent cinema at its finest and its worst. In our ten years of trading and internet uploading, we've seen a lot of things change, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to publishing the defining moments of cinema in the world's best digital editions.

The foundation of the collection is the work of such masters of cinema as Donner, Corman, Morgan, Wong, Carpenter, Hartley and Lucas. Most films are presented in their original uncut, and if possible in its original aspect ratio, as its maker intended it to be or not to be seen. Some films maybe fan interpreted renditions in the form of “fan edits” of the original films or broadcasts, For every disc we use state-of-the-art commercially available equipment and computers with the finest retail digital video software to meet our rigorous yet questionable standards, the titles are produced with the best available materials and sources. In particular, considerable effort has been expended to obtain the best image and sound quality for every title. Sadly many titles in The Unauthorized Collection are transferred from antiquated video formats, and overall quality variations are inevitable, yet we take time during the original source materials-to-digital video transfer to create the most accurate transfers possible.

All titles in The Unauthorized Collection are either known to be fan created preservation efforts, which are not YET available on any official or currently produced DVD, Laserdisc or VHS release. The creation of this collection was not intended for profit or infringement but strictly for the preservation of these very rare and unique titles - this is being done for the fans by fans. These titles can and will be removed once any official and unaltered DVD or other retail version is made available to the general public. PLEASE purchase or acquire via trade any official copies of these titles when possible (i.e. Laserdisc, VHS, CED or DVD) please don't support piracy!

To date, more than 50 films, television programs, documentaries and fan edits have been preserved in our archive library of DVDs; the most significant archive of unauthorized DVD’s available to the home viewer and film collector. We have posted a number of these titles on the internet for free downloads on Newsgroups, P2P services and the BitTorrent community via our release group Blaksvn-Torrentz and we will continue to do so for other fans as long as possible and bandwidth permits or until the entire collection has been posted.

Please promise to copy these discs as many times as you can and give/trade copies to EVERY fan you know if you have downloaded a torrent file PLEASE keep the seed going for as long as possible! This helps prevent the Darkside Dealers (eBay/comic shop sellers) from selling copies of these fan created DVD’s for $15-$200; help others achieve their collecting goals for the sake of the hobby, not profit.

Thanks for your support.

Superman II and Superman III extended (Released)
Time
Hey gang I just UPDATED my Superman III: The Salkind Extended Television Version DVD!!!

I'll add it to the upload list sometime in the next few days

NEW –
Superman III: The Salkind Extended Television Version (Upgraded Version!)
Angrysun DVD authoring of a Chad Stevens VHS transfer

Superman III was released in summer 1983 with a running time of 123 minutes (117 minutes PAL UK). The extended cut was first shown on ABC in 1985 with an extra 20 minutes of added footage; the running time was 143 minutes. Again this extended edition was produced by Alexander Salkind’s company.

Upgraded DVD with a newer VHS transfer that was on a dual-layer disc with much higher bitrate (5.5gigs vs. the old 3.4gig version), this VHS transfer also offers brighter colors and better saturation (flesh tones look almost real!) there is some artifacting during heavy motion but overall I feel it's much nicer – This transfer has the complete end titles and there are NO station ID’s.

Also added to this new edition is the very rare “The Making of Superman III” – transferred from a PAL Beta tape, I have converted the file to NTSC for compatibility; another addition is “Superman: The Mechanical Monsters” by the Fleischer Bros. from 1941 (I felt it followed the theme)
