I'll need to get the other versions so I can compair them with the other two, I do think that the copy I have with onscreen Japanese Subs is from the Japanese LD the picture is a bit nicer but sadly the DVD will not copy

EXTRA INFORMATION - This seems to be the oldest version without asian subtitles and was also the same version that was reportedly being sold via SongOfTheSouth.net, apperently sourced from Korean laserdisc for the DVD. I've gotten this version in multiple trades over the last few years and from I bought a copy from eBay in 2001.
UPDATE: 7/9/06
I've gotten a report that this was sourced from the Korean laserdisc, I'm not 100% sure of the source but if the video is from laserdisc they did a very poor transfer as the video really looks like VHS to me.

The creator of the DVD has added english subtitles that can be selected on and off as well as adding the "Coal Black" as a Special Feature instead of a hidden egg. Originally posted by: TheSessler Man, green Chartreuse is expensive. Cancels that little experiment.
AND that is why I've only made it a few times and I had the advantage of working in a liquor store , that and if your going to drink, by all means do it proper!

We made one and it is NOT for the weak drinker(s) as this makes almost 5 gallons (plastic carboy fermenter) or almost 40 pints of our version of the "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster" (I have this as a word doc still ) - WARNING this will make you think that you have had your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick! I’ve only made this once but I’ve helped make it a few times
First the non liquor list.
2 can of frozen Pineapple juice - $4-6 2 can of Five Alive juice - $2-4 2 can of Orange juice - $1-3 2 packages of BLUE Kool Aid (Berry Blue) $1 3 cups of sugar - $1 6 lemons - $1-2
The Liquor list.
750ml Bottes
2 750ml bottles of GREEN Chartreuse (MAIN INGREDIENT!) - $60+/bottle 1 750ml bottle of Butterscotch Schnapps - $6-9 1 750ml bottle of Peppermint Schnapps - $6-9
1.75 Liter bottles
2 1.75 liter bottles of McCormick/Albertsons Vodka (as it's cheap!) - $15/bottle 1 1.75 liter bottle of McCormick/Albertsons Gin - $15/bottle 1 1.75 liter bottle of Old Overholt Whiskey - $35/bottle 1 1.75 liter bottle of Southern Comfort - $35/bottle
Empty all the bottles into your big ass 5 gallon bucket or carboy, then add the frozen juices (I melt them by running hot water over them first), Kool Aid and the sugar. Mix it all up with a huge mixing spoon serve over ice (16 oz cup or glass) and with a slice of lemon. Sit back and enjoy the hilarity that will ensue!
UPDATED
You don't need to use brand name liquors but this is what I used and you can also cut the mix 1/4 by using 375ml bottles instead of the 1.75 liters and also this - a little less then half a bottle of Chartreuse (nice investment anyway!), about a third bottle each of the Schnapps, 1/2 a can of each juice, 1/2 package Kool Aid, 2/3 cup sugar.
I don't drink like I used to when I was a youngster. Back in 94-97 I managed a liquor store in Denver with a wicked sweet beer selection (we had 100+ brands, mostly local brews) I've never drank that much in my life and I even learned to brew beer.
I used to drink between 12-30 beers over the course of the day... every day, I even drank at work (liquor store after all) which was about a 6 pack on average every day as my brother Pat and I always had two kegs on tap at home (converted two fridges) one of which was always Guinness Draught w/ 30psi nitrogen/CO2 tank and a homemade cold plate so yeah I really got into drinking!
MAN, living in LODO at the time ROCKED, I had a car but I never drove anywhere as the buses ran till well after last call and oh boy all the crazy drink specials in the bars in LODO ruled, we had a "Drinkin' With Lincoln" night which after you paid a $10 cover charge you got tap and well for a penny! (10oz dixies cups but shit a penny is a penny - and YES they would cut you off at the slightest slur!). So living downtown (13th and Corona) was a true blast as we were in staggering range of most bars, pubs and taverns* (*places to score on older ladies if your dirty like that ), I even got a few drunk in public tickets and once I even got to ride in the paddy wagon and a night stay in the drunk tank after a super fun piss drunk fist fight at a Toasters show!
I was able to drink my age in pints until I turned 30 but I no longer drink as much (only a few pints a week now) nor do I home brew full-time. But I'm thinking of buying some hops and malts and firing up the old 5 gallon boiler pot!
I've been a Doctor Who fan for many years but have been unable to find most of the original episodes until recently!!
I found a set of torrents that are broken down by the Doctor & seasons!! The bummer is they are about 11-50 gigs per Doctor and they are all AVI/MPEG files which is no biggie as the DVD sets I've been able to find are between 175-200 DVD's and cost about $400-600 for the fan created DVD's. SO, I started to download the first Doctor (William Hartnell Seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4) with hopes of getting them all I'll be more then happy to PIF the discs once I've got em'.
And the rest are up as torrents so if anyone would like the links please let me know as it would be great IF I could find other fans that would help download them, say something like I grab the William Hartnell torrent and someelse could grab Patrick Troughton and someone can get Jon Pertwee and so on, we can then swap season on DVDr (the avi/mpeg as data DVD's) this way we can team up on them and get them so much faster! (if intersted PM or email me!)
ANYWAY....
I think that this is one of the greatest scifi series concepts ever and wish that I could have seen all the Doctors other then (Hartnell, The first Baker, Eccleston or Tennant) and I just wanted fans to know that you can grab them if you got the connection!
Originally posted by: Senator_Polk_of_NJ How is it possible that fan edits, like Cowclops'for istance, is taken from the 1993 Laser Disc and is Anamorphic, but Lucasfilm's version is from the same source but will not be anamorphic????
Well, they are not FAN EDITS but Preservations and Lucas is just trying to make another million dollars, just WAIT and see in another year well get another "limited" edition but it will be anamorphic THEN he'll redo it a third time in HD. I really can't believe that most folks haven't noticed that he really likes the cash he generates from all of these so called "Last time ever", "Limited Edition" and "Special Editions".
Well, I traded Zootie (my yellow 510) to my brother for some cash and bought a restored 1972 Datsun 1200 Coupe CHEAP!!
These are the pictures that sold me on getting the car (weighs in at 1609 lbs with 62 HP 1.2 liter pushroad, 5-speed and 3.97 rearend)
And I'm also making payments on a 1971 Datsun 1200 Sedan SCCA GT5 Race Car!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm getting it REAL, REAL, REAL SUPER cheap, I may not race it but convert it back to a street car - maybe remove the fender flares and make it a stock looking sleeper (weighs in at 1587 lbs with 130+ HP 1.2 liter pushroad, 5-speed and 4.11 rearend)
THIS IS NOT THE CAR - But only an example! (I'll post pictures soon)
