No, I haven't.
No, I haven't.
I dunno, I think it looks good. I've never liked the funny colours look that a lot of comics from that era have.
As I only had one exam this week, which I wrote this morning, and there are no regular courses, my holidays have already begun. I've got three whole weeks of free time to look forward to (aside from a chapter in my science textbook that I have to do). :)
Didn't you know? They used scissors, glue, and the original negative for that.
Yeah, I kind of missed the Ewoks getting slaughtered left, right, and centre last time I watched the movie....
You'll have to make a special edition of your edits some day (we all know you've got nothing else to do with your life anyway). ;)
I suppose it's probably too late (if this gag were to be used it would have been best to start in AotR), but Shmi's ghost should ask Anakin what his heart tells him every time he asks a question.
I am rarely emotionally invested in characters (this is not true for books, for some reason), so when a film lacks that I almost never notice it. Bad CGI I can deal with, since I find it no more distracting (in fact, probably less so) than bad practical effects. Thus, I'll probably enjoy the third one as much as I enjoyed the other two.
Why don't we play a game of Chess with Different Armies with the same armies as each other? :D That will allow us to (re)adjust to the unfamiliar pieces so that the following game, which we can play with different armies, will be a fair competition rather than a determination of a person's ability to familiarize themselves with the pieces. That is assuming that one of us plays a familiar army the second game.
You pick the army, or if you'd rather, the armies. I don't believe we've played the Meticulous Mashers yet, though I can't remember for sure.
I just finished watching the 2003 Clone Wars series. Everything except the story sucked, and the story wasn't particularly noteworthy, so it gets a big "meh" overall. Maybe it's just the visual medium I dislike. But then again, there are plenty of animated shows that are consistent from shot to shot (the Clone Wars goes from showing a huge army to showing nothing in the same spot from shot to shot), that have good voice acting, etc. Also, it always bugs me when Jedi can fly (since when can Jedi fly!?) and destroy hundreds of droids with ease in one shot, and in the next they're fighting for their life with a single droid, which they effortlessly destroy when they decide to use force powers instead of their lightsabre. Now, I think the story is better than that of the prequels, but I'm not sure why people prefer this one to the more recent series.
It's been very enjoyable. I was never really into chess, but I find shogi far more interesting and enjoyable, so I'm glad you introduced me to it.
Do you want to play a chess variant in the other thread? A three-player game can be a little slow sometimes...(wink, wink, nudge, nudge to a certain relative of mine). I'll remind my dad to move in case he's forgotten.
...It's been a year now since we started our first game.
Also, it's your turn, dad.
Jabba's size never seemed right to me in that scene. Is he actually the same size there as he is in RotJ, or did they make him too small?
Why are you bumping these old threads?!
I have no words for how annoying it is to have to read them all.
Wow, Warbler agreed with Bingowings on page two of this thread. Twice!!

Ah, so that's where the elk thing comes from. I thought it was a typo last time I saw you use it...
Yes there is:

I like the Hobbit films a lot. I haven't seen the latest one though--didn't even know it was out--and probably won't for some time.

I wouldn't regret saying it because it's true. The only way to eliminate the problem might be through some of DrCrow's extreme methods, but they obviously aren't desirable means of achieving that end.
I hope you don't take too much offense at me saying that those ideas are retarded. They just aren't practicable options. Any solution to bullying must be one that doesn't leave a multitude of other problems in its stead, or it isn't much of a solution.
Or how French fries didn't originate in France.
Or how most blackboards are green.

I don't know an action figure you have to build
Well, if you want to get to know one, you can order the one shown above, and build it.

Now requiring parents to stay home with their kids or have them watched by another adult and sending both the kid and the adult who was supposed to be watching them to prison if the kid acts out, that would work. Do you really think parents would let their kids bully other kids if they could be sent to prison for five years if their kid did it? I don't.
Do you really think parents have that much control over their kids, especially into high school? Some kids are bullies despite being brought up by good parents, who drilled into them that they should show kindness to other people and shouldn't harm anyone for any reason. And if you mean by the first part of that paragraph that bullies should be under supervision 24/7, then that's just insane.
