That's a mask he's wearing. That's very obviously not supposed to be his actual snout.

Exactly. Maybe he just died his hair and combed it differently. Changed his hair style. After all, he was twenty years younger in ROTS than in ANH.

Well done. Production design, direction, score... all first rate. Cast was spot-on. Connely and Watson were terrific.
I was fully engaged by the alternate take on the epic story.
SPOILERS SPOILERS
Yeah, the rock giants were quite fanciful. I don't know if there is some basis in folklore for that. Insta-forest was also unexpected. They moved the story from epic towards fairey-tale, which might have been the intent.
Making the other two unborn girls was an interesting twist.
Those are from Midrashic (Hebrew legends) sources. They're fallen angels who were trapped in inanimate objects, animating them. The Midrash embellish(es)* the canonical Biblical stories, adding details, and this film borrowed some things from it/them.
*I'm not sure if Midrash is singular or plural (i.e. a single work, or a collective term describing multiple stories).
The books still say "Legends" on them. Doesn't this mean they're still not official canon? Or am I misunderstanding what you're getting at?

Survey Done. I imagine you'd like some feedback on the survey, as this is for your college course. I've done a couple of surveys for school/college and I know they are very difficult to word.
1. There was no location question? - This dramatically effects cost. e.g. I live in the UK and we get "F'd in the A" all the time over gaming costs. The US gets it easy ;-)
2. "How many hours a week do you spend playing video games?" - If I'm deep into a videogame and I've got the time, I might spend 12hours a day gaming! But I probably haven't spent 12 hours this month, as I'm not really into anything at the moment. The question didn't really reflect this, so I just guessed something average.
3. Demo Questions - I haven't played a Demo since the 90s, so I'd have liked to have put N/A for those ones. I went for '1' instead.
4. Similaly there are four questions on Alpha/Beta - I've only ever done that once so these were a bit wasted on me. I put '1' for all.
5. Also although I'm 100% satified with the DLC I've purchased (I wouldn't have bought it otherwise) I'm very annoyed at the range of DLC offered currently and angry about how it is being sold. I want EXTRA totally new quality Single Player content 6 months down the road. I don't want crappy and weak multiplayer content (Like one extra map or a different skin) removed from the game and I'm forced to pay extra to get it back. The survey didn't fully address that IMO.
6. Also the cost questions - I'm always satisfied with the ammount I pay for a videogame because I always wait for the price to drop to something I'm happy with. So obviously that means I think new games are over priced, but that wasn't what you asked.
^ Hope that's helpful :-)
This about sums up what I think as well. I'm not a big gamer, though I play a lot when I have time. It's just not that high up on my priority list. Once in a while, I play for six hours straight, but other times, I go for weeks, or months without playing anything. My answers were largely theoretical for demos and alpha/beta testing, since I've only played a couple demos and have never actually participated in alpha/beta testing. It's something I would do if I had more time, and I think I can fairly judge how much it would affect my decision to buy a game.
It would be helpful to be able to put N/A instead, since some questions don't really apply to everyone.
Good luck. :)

After posting in a couple other forums today, I realized how much better quoting is on this site than on those forums. Here, all one has to do to separate text in a block quote is press enter and click the block quote button and one can type between them. On other forums, one has to either type out the "[/quote]" and then "[quote]" at the beginning of the next section, or, for each section of text
does this work?
You have to press the quote button after you press enter.
, highlight the text, click the quote button, and delete extra quote tags. I'm sure there are some forums with better quote options than that, and it isn't as easy to multi-quote here as it is on some other forums, but I like what we've got here better than what they've got on other sites.
well, half successful. Pardon the experiment.
Frosty and foggy this morning. You have to love Albertan weather. One day, it's twenty above, and the next day, it's snowing and the temperature is below zero.
I'm not terribly excited about the series, but maybe it'll get better as time goes on and the animation will improve. I'm crossing my fingers, but I don't have high hopes. The antics of that silly droid are sure to drive me nuts and I don't really like the visual style. However, if it has good stories, I'm happy.

WRONG THREAD!!!
You want the avatar thread, which is about Tex Murphy. This is the Tex Murphy thread, which is about avatars.
I don't think I could afford enough of that stuff to solve the problem.
Just between you and me, I suspect it might be God who has the dandruff problem. After all, I was inside the whole time, and there's no snow in the house.
Last night, I dreamed that I met darth_ender while on holidays down south. For some reason, my family decided that it was a good idea to stick my younger brother in kindergarten there, just for the holiday, and it turns out that one of d_e's kids went to the same kindergarten. I picked up my little brother at the same time he picked up his kid. I don't know how I knew who he was, but I did, and said hi. He, of course, immediately guessed who I was. He seemed like a very unenthusiastic kind of guy, but he invited me over to his house, where we did...nothing. I have no clue what happened to my little brother, but I guess I forgot to take him with me or something, because he disappeared. When the dream ended, I think I was just sitting around in ender's house feeling bored.
It's snowing again...
This has happened many times since, and in the past day or so, I've been receiving some email notifications several hours after the actual post.
Sounds good.

The family business is a window coverings company, so I had to add my two bits while it was still part of the discussion...
"Drapes" is generally used to describe fancier curtains. I wouldn't use the word to describe cheap, everyday curtains, nor would I use the word "curtains" to describe most drapes.
No, that's dogs you're thinking of. And only about half of them are.
I had no idea your dad was dying, but I'm glad to hear he's improving! I'll keep him and your family in my prayers.

I've seen few movies that have been mentioned on this thread, but this happens to be one of them. :D
What evidence do you have for such a conspiracy? Why must some people find conspiracies everywhere they turn?
Christianity is a religion. Period. Cult is usually used as a derogatory term, though it is not strictly negative. For Christianity, other religions are other religions. What reason is there to call them cults?
