Okay, but not good. He always looked fake to me, even when I was a little kid.

Yes, I think my thread is doomed to failure. Oh, well. Too bad georgec isn't around to change the title of the thread. I guess we all know what it really is now anyway.

JJ announced a donation/contest to get a walk-on role in VII, from the (I'm assuming) Tattooine set.

Some practical effects on display behind him.
If anyone from here gets in the movie, be sure to let us know...
And by the way, I did make a separate thread for this kind of thing. :\
It would be the DOU[B]T, since George wouldn't be involved anymore. As in, "we'll doubt that we'll ever get the OOT."
Someone should start a petition to get the Fox Fanfare in front of those movies...

Either my phone sucks or this site sucks.
considering that this double post thing doesn't seem to happen to others on here, I'd have to bet that its your phone.
It seems to happen to everybody, including myself. There are double posts all over the forums. It does happen on other sites, but with less frequency.
We heard you the first time!!!

This site is all about Han Shot First. We just don't complain about it here, because it's been complained about all over the place elsewhere.
Three seven or so podcast threads were created over a period of years, after people forgot about them. Then a fourth was made, since that particular person hadn't bothered to check for others. The rest were made as jokes.
In general, though, the regulars on this forum prefer people to use the threads that have already been created, rather than having five for each topic.
There's already a thread for complaining about stuff, you know.
That sounds pretty cool! You'll have to share pictures some time.
I've never thought TPM was the best of the three. I always liked ROTS far better. I think that it has to do partly with the fact that there is no nostalgia or fond memories of the anticipation of it that come with the movie for me as there is for many of you. I currently rank it second, after ROTS and before AOTR.
They could be deliberately misleading people.
BTW, I created a thread to discuss this kind of thing in, rather than having almost everything about Episode VII show up in this thread.
I stayed up until 4:40 this morning. As soon as I got up, I helped move the 300 gallon tank downstairs. I finished moving the fish into it about an hour and a half ago, but I have yet to decorate it and plant the plants. That, and cleaning/setting up the 180 gallon tank upstairs will occupy me all day tomorrow.
I was referring to that particular scene. On top of everything Ryan mentioned, her makeup is really bad in the scene.
Everything from the balcony scene. Every line of it makes me cringe. That whole scene is awful--the atmosphere, dialogue, and acting. Not to mention that Natalie Portman looks hideous in it.
The fingerprints all over Darth Vader's helmet always bugged me. You'd think he'd keep it clean and not let people put their grubby hands all over it.
We're dissembling the 300 gallon tank now. It's a lot of work. We started catching fish almost five hours ago, and we just finished catching them. We still have to empty out the remaining substrate, and then move the tank itself downstairs where we will then have to set it up again. I anticipate being up until about five in the morning.
The tank for the big fish has been set up. Most of the fish headed for our two biggest tanks have been put in them. It's a lot of fun watching them swim around in their comparatively huge environment, especially the baby cichlids, which are only about one to two centimetres in length.
Probably because most people think like Han. What use is a sword if you don't know how to use it? Learning how to use a blaster is easy.
I feel sorry for George Lucas, but I think he brought a lot of it on himself. It would have been so easy for him to fix some of the things we complain about, yet he didn't. I don't think he's a bad man in any way--just a bit of a softy and perhaps a bit apathetic towards Star Wars fans. I don't blame him though. When he comes across people like generalfrievous on the internet, he gets a bad impression and probably loses all his desire to please fans.

The size of the bunker explosion doesn't match the reaction to the explosion of Han and the strike team just a few yards away.
I'm pretty sure that isn't an error. When the rebels are in the bunker, you see a long row of reactors, or whatever they are, and they're probably meant to lead to the deflector shield dish, etc. I think it's supposed to be a chain reaction, and the bunker is only an entrance (isn't there something in the movie about them going around to the back entrance instead of going straight to the shield generator?) to the larger complex. That's how I've interpreted it since I was 10 or so.

The thread about J.J. Abrams being chosen to direct the new movie has been getting cluttered with all sorts of things about Episode VII, so I’ve created a thread about the filming itself rather than having all that end up in said thread.
