They can't all be from the first episode.
They can't all be from the first episode.
If you're offering him a job, you've certainly got the right guy. :P
A depressing merry-go-round--a new oxymoron!
Seriously, though, I wish you the best of luck in getting back on those meds. It sounds like life hasn't treated you terribly well in the past few years, and I will be praying for you.
That's hardly LOL material. HotRod has the humour of a two year old. I can't believe there are adults who find that kind of thing even remotely funny. I think I matured past that point by the time I was seven.
I'm assuming that was a typo and you meant +Bx6g, but correct me if I'm wrong.
If I assumed correctly, R-3i

Well, it's honestly better to keep most pieces on the board, with maybe only one or two in hand. Trouble is that your drops didn't give you any gains, and likely more loss. I might have done the same as you, but now in retrospect, you probably should have dropped your pieces closer to your king as part of a defensive strategy instead of trying to force me out of your territory. I have a powerful but not very valuable piece (promoted lance) supported by a very powerful piece, and therefore I can attack and force a trade in my favor.
Yeah, I think you're right.

I imagine Frink's voice echoing whenever he speaks.

I hope I won't regret dropping everything on the board at once.
Bonne nuit.
Ah, but I remember you saying something about trying to reach 40,000 within a year of your 30,000 postmark. You're obviously just trying to make up for lost time.

This thread makes me miss all the funny posters on OT.com.
I miss C3PS (I hope I spelled that correctly :P).
EDIT: Ach, it's "CP3S" or "C3PX". I always conflate the two names.
I would like them to either use every colour of the rainbow for lightsabres, without regard to affiliation, or give colours symbolic meanings. I prefer the former, but the latter is far better than what we have now.
LOL, but right now, it's ****** for me.
I'm still convinced he does it on purpose just to increase his post count.
Indeed. And at the same time they've decided not to deport a repeat criminal out of the U.S. (at least I think it was the U.S.) because he claims he's gay.
I assume only residents of the U.K. can sign that petition, though, since it doesn't accept my postal code as valid.
I'm extremely hesitant about ignoring anyone, but I think I'm going ignore HotRod. He doesn't contribute many posts of value here--most of them are crude and vulgar--and certainly nothing I need to read.
There are too many Anglophones at my school. And all of the ones I've come across so far are morons (or at the least, very annoying). There are a lot who speak English as a second language (and French as a third) in my françisation ("Frenchification") class, which occupies most of my school time this semester, so I hope I'll be able to make some friends who don't speak English. Otherwise I won't learn enough French to make me happy. :(

I rinse my face in warm water, apply shaving cream, shave with the grain, rince face in warm water again, reapply shaving cream, shave across the grain, rince face in warm water again, reapply shaving cream, shave against the grain, finally rince in cold water, dry face, apply aftershave.
I do not rub or press hard with the blade, that is how you get cut and get razor burn. I try to glide the blade over the skin using as little pressure as possible and let the blade do the work. If you try shaving against the grain, do so very carefully, that is where you stand the best chance of getting cut.
LOL, It took me a while to figure out why Warbler made this post. I forgot that he was "ignoring" Bingowings, and didn't see the post I was replying to.

I see...sort of.
They don't have much (any?) professional baseball in Canada, or school teams, and we don't get into it enough in phys. ed. to learn that kind of terminology. There are a few community teams, but baseball really isn't a big thing here.
Toronto is still in Canada, eh?
Yes. But not in the part of Canada I live in. I'm from Western Canada and live in Quebec. Baseball isn't played much in either.

It was weird sending my mom off to school today. She's taking a French course for adults at my school, and it starts an hour earlier than my school does.
I haven't a clue what a combined no-hitter is, but, um...congratulations?
I need to see Spaceballs again sometime....
The same magazine also calls Luke's lightsabre blade white.
I believe the magazine is called Science Fantasy. I figured Vader's rank might have just been made up, but I wondered if there were any other instances of this, or if there was another source for the rank.
Looking at a magazine downloaded from starwarsarchives.com, I came across a picture of Darth Vader calling him "Major Darth Vader" in the caption. Does anyone know where his military rank comes from (not the real life rank, for those of you who think I'm slow)? That's the first time I've seen him with a rank like that and I'm curious to know where else that occurs and why they made him a major.
