Reverend Beastly's VHS giveaway of sorts
Time
So before I started amassing a huge load of underground/illicit DVDs and learned that I can get pretty much anything for free if I tried hard enough, I bought a lot of stuff at comic conventions over the years. In all cases, I've supplanted them with DVD versions of the same content, or they've been officially released. So now I have all of these VHS tapes laying around that I have no use for, and they're just taking up space. Here's what I've got to give away (kind of):

Star Wars: Dark Redemption fanfilm
Lexx: Series 2, Episodes 1 & 2
Lexx: Series 2, Episodes 3 & 4
Bad Taste (with Japanese subtitles)
Memento (screener dub)
Meet the Feebles
Mulholland Dr. Pilot Version
Star Wars 1995 Laserdisc bonus features
Gen13: The Movie
Fearsum: alternate Freakylinks pilot
Braindead (aka Dead Alive, may have subs)
The Professional: Director's Cut
The Frighteners: Director's Cut (also documentary and film with commentary)

The reason I keep putting disclaimers in here like "of sorts" and "kind of" is that I'd really like whoever wants a certain tape (or tapes) to throw in about $1.00 for shipping via PayPal, or maybe a buck or so more according to your place in the world. That's all, though. If you're interested, please email me at reverendbeastly AT gmail DOT com with the tapes you want and your address. Also, post the tapes that you want in this thread so that people can see what's already been called.

Also, thanks to Meedermow for this idea in the first place.

The Mask: workprint composite (* unfinished project *)
Time
Project is coming along okay, I got about 50mins of it done, leaving about 60 to go. The MPEG2 plugin is very buggy. The DVD picture that I ripped keeps looking corrupted, even though if I look back at the original file itself, I can see that it's not, so I'll have to be doing a bunch of replacements after I've finished the "first cut" of this.

'Decline of Western Civilization Pt II: The Metal Years' (Released)
Time
I have a copy of the second one on DVD and, from what I remember, it looks quite nice. I'm not at home right now, but when I get back tomorrow, remind me and I'll post some screenshots.

The guy I got it from has also been looking for Part III for some time and hasn't found a copy, and he has quite an impressive collection, so there aren't too many around of that one.

Info: DC & Faces - Original audio sources (lots of information)
Time
A little search on the Wikipedia shows us the way:

From D1 article
D1 stored uncompressed digitized component video, encoded at YUV 4:2:2 using the CCIR 601 raster format, along with PCM audio tracks as well as timecode on a 19 mm (3/4") cassette tape. Uncompressed component video uses enormous bandwidth, and a simpler D2 system soon followed.
From D2 article
Like D1, D2 video is uncompressed; however, it saves bandwidth and other costs by sampling a fully-encoded NTSC or PAL composite video signal, and storing it directly to magnetic tape, rather than sampling component video. This is known as digital composite.

I Need Help!!!
Time
A couple things. (Please note: if the following reads as me being snooty, I am sorry. I am merely stating facts)

1) Do you mean the 1993 Definitive Collection laserdisc sets or the 1995 Faces VHS & LD sets?

2) In either event, DVD covers based on both of those sets exist. Mull through the giganticness of this thread, or just post a message in there asking for assistance, and you will find what you're looking for.
