Munchausen was captured and the first disc was authored, but the bonus disc was problematic to author and was never completed. Still have the working files for that, though.

I remember getting the first disc in that trade way back when. I think I posted this thread within 10 minutes of looking at it. Good memories.

As I recall, the material restored was only material that was cut to make space for ads as the program went into syndication over the years. I'm reasonably certain that it's all been restored for DVD/BD. I think the main reason for the Shatner/Nimoy bumps and the other interview material was to get the program up to a running time for a 90minute timeslot, which is how it aired on SciFi, so they wouldn't have to sacrifice commercial time to add back in the material cut for syndication.

There's a decent chance I have a VHS of the TV version in my mom's attic, but I wouldn't be able to check till Christmas. I'll see if I can get her to go and try to find the tape, though. It would be an original off-air recording, likely in SP mode.

I am eagerly awaiting this set. Droids is really the biggest hole in my collection, I feel. I love this series and desperately want to replace my VCD-sourced DVD. 9 of 14 is better than none, and will tide us over while we patiently wait for the other 5.

I had a lot of trouble with that when I was first authoring DVDs in DVD-lab Pro, but MeBeJedi helped me out a bunch with that. I always use a special script I learned from there, it seems much more effective than the program's menu options. I can send you those notes, if you'd like.

Dunno if anyone still around is interested, but I've finally converted the scans of the book into an eBook (epub and mobi formats). The original scan wasn't too great, so the pictures don't translate so well all the time, but the text is fine. That was all manually corrected, and sometimes re-typed, by me. Feel free to email me (reverendbeastly AT gmail DOT com) for the file.

I don't have Rik's versions of those flicks, but I have some dupes of the retail VHS versions to DVD that I got at a comic-con a long while back.

I think the DVD that I have is the same one that DJ posted caps from. The color saturation on his might be a bit better, but the sharpness is comparable. I can help you out. It might take me a while to get you the disc, but I'll probably get around to it. Just email me.

I also have the DJ/Segaflip SC discs you write about in your signature. We'll figure that out too.

The proposed rest of the extras seemed pretty great, though...

I love ADM's EEs, and extended editions are generally my favorite fanedits. I always watch the deleted scenes after the flick anyway, so it just makes that whole process easier. I'll absolutely download and watch when you're finished with this. Thanks!
