The older I become the less interest I have in seeing human-like aliens in sci-fi/space fantasy/space opera/whatever. What's the point? Why not have these races be "removed" humans and save yourself make-up and special effects time? Sometimes it's necessary and works, as in Mass Effect.
In other words, yes, I would prefer Thrawn be human, as well as this Inquisitor fellow. For one because aliens are usually pointless, and second because of the Empire's standards as darklordoftech addressed.
He used to have a website where he'd answer fans' plot and character questions years after the series went off air. He put a lot of himself into Gargoyles.
*thumbs up*
Would someone be so kind as to inform me of the rules on signature images?

You're equating name origins with visual consistency between actors who are supposed to be playing the same character? I guess, if you want.
And if you're planning to eventually paint this as something that it's not (we both know what I'm referring to; and I'm not accusing you, but only saying): You mentioned race first. My original post was conveniently vague.
Getting back to Star Wars, I'm not sure what kind of visual inconsistency you are concerned about in terms of casting. Or maybe you're not. You were conveniently vague.
There's nobody in particular at the moment who's in danger of being miscast, as in a pre-existing character. Most of these characters will likely be original.
(I joined Neopets in early 2000)
EDIT: But enough about me, bkev, do you have any secret identities we need to know?
Yeah, I saw his account here.
He was the most subtle and skilled trouble-maker I've ever encountered in my thirteen years of exploring the internet.
*clears throat*
Can we discuss Star Wars in a reasonable manner? We're on opposite sides of the spectrum, but I don't know why this has to turn into a flame war.
Posters on here insult Lucas out of anger or insult me for trying to present his view. Is he here to defend himself? Well, no. I think he deserves some defense.
I used to parody him in Zombie84's thread on TheForce.net. That was years ago.
Go-Mer-Tonic.
Frink is smart enough to keep any socks he may have out of the anti-sock announcement thread.
At least I hope.
I was telling Jay in case he wasn't sure what we were talking about.
The font size changes when you double backspace at the beginning of paragraphs.
I understand human humor a little more every day.
That was Superman's prototype attire before he fully embraced acting in the public eye. It's a clever in-between of country boy and superhero.
I was thinking the same thing. It's possible he was lying when he said he showed up unannounced.
Made by a ridiculous wealthy man for the ridiculous wealthy. It was never aimed at us.
Someone in the comments said Carrie and the interviewer had good chemistry. I'm trying to see it, but I can't.
It's more like she's creeped out by his demeanor, but being polite.
Watching every motion in my foolish lover's game. On this endless ocean, finally lovers know no shame. Turning and returning to some secret place inside. Watching in slow motion as you turn around and say, take my breath awaaay. Take my breath awaaay
Legal name, personal pictures of himself and friends, location, age.
If you're going to go around the internet acting that foolish, at least disguise yourself.
He was even reckless enough to play loose with his real identity.

I fear that it will be awesome, but continue to reference midichlorians and other small things people hate from the PT, in a way that makes them nearly impossible to edit out because they are made narratively relevant.
Win.
That sounds like a Twilight Zone-esque scenario, but at the same time a distinct possibility.

Nonsensical casting. Khan in "Into Darkness" is an example.
More nonsensical than casting someone of Spanish descent?
How was casting someone of Spanish descent nonsensical?
Humans are the most dangerous game of all? Sex is? Naked human sex?
What is this thread?
