A: Because NO ONE deserves to have a purple lightsaber.
Q: What was the first fan edit you ever saw and what did you think of it?
RedFive is really Vince, a 24yo from Toledo, Ohio who recently graduated BGSU with an education degree, focusing on high school English. I play piano, guitar, drums and a slew of other instruments; I'm a huge movie/tv buff and enjoy almost anything pop-culture related; I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do smoke; I ride a Kawasaki Vulcan; I'm an amateur photographer; I study religion/philosophy/psychology in my spare time; I have ulcerative colitis; My iTunes has over 39 days worth (90GB) of music on it; I go hiking at least once a week and camping at least once a month whenever the weather permits it; I love women, maybe too much (aka I'm Sicilian); My hand is a dolphin.
My favorite things are Superman, Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Vonnegut, Star Wars, Radiohead, Lost, Kubrick, Battlestar Galactica, The Beatles, and anything in the Whedonverse.
Audrey Hepburn is my dream girl.

ADigitalMan's 1 + DiamondCut 2 + ADigitalMan's 3 (7.8)
Awesome, thanks for doing this Hal! Do you happen to know if all of these combos work as far as the storyline is concerned? Also, why no love for Kerr's Dark Force Rising, with its score of 9.08?

If everyone moves to the back, then who's doing the driving???
Bear is driving!
If you'd ever wondered (dared to) what was going on in the mind of your fellow posters, this is the thread for you.
Instructions: Answer the question asked in the post above you, then ask another question for someone else to answer. Simple.
The questions can be of any nature and about anything. If you aren't sure how to answer, at least give a witty guess, it'll count. Avoid yes/no questions, cause that's boring, and try to elaborate or explain your answers. Otherwise, there are no rules. Ask away!
First question: Who is your favorite OT.com member?
GO!
walkingdork, I'm pretty sure he was talking to Alexrd ;-)
webcamless :( but maybe i could borrow one
Anyone have/remember the old A/B cable? Growing up I remember the channels were 1-22A and 1-22B, and there was a little black switchbox hooked to the cable box you'd have to flip.
MS Paint, represent.
I've been waiting for something more to come from this since I first saw it a couple years ago. It's so awesome, whatever it is.
Dustin Hoffman Quits Bathroom and Climbs a Tree ~ of Montreal
This is awesome, I've never seen it so I can't wait, already got a copy of Northwest Passage. One question, how/where will said "lunch" take place?
We'll have to squeeze this into the end of the schedule perhaps:

While searching for this,
I found this.
It needs more bling, I'm not a fan of rapping, but you know, Ewok Hip-hop could be the next big thing.
My apologies to you who are already familiar with the linked clip, I find it hard enough to keep up with sort of sheeet!
I can't see it myself being much of a big hit and sadly the film footage is the usual SE rip.
No apologies needed, that is one of the greatest things I've ever seen!

Charles Schulz knows how to spell it right.
Oh wow that worked out better than I thought, so funny.
P.S. When my brother was in town recently we watched ANH:Revisited, and I showed him some clips of your edit, just to get the full fan-editing spectrum, and even without any OT.com context he was cracking up. +1!
I feel like Serenity itself was a pretty good ending to it all, but I like the idea of something set during the war. The war scenes we got in Firefly were really awesome. I'm down to see more of this.
Clone Wash just sounds bad.
Going in kind of another direction, a movie I'd LOVE to see made would be Kubrick's version of Napoleon. He did years of research on the movie, wrote screenplays, had actors in mind, and even convinced the Romanian army to star as Napoleon's army for certain scenes! He supposedly claimed it could be the greatest movie ever made, which means a lot coming from someone who had already made the greatest movie ever made.
Due to similar movies flopping around that time, and what was I'm sure an immense budget, it never came to fruition. But I read the beginning of his screenplay for it and man, it would have been awesome.
Serenity Prequel!
And I was gonna say "spoiler alert", but I don't think anything could spoil that. *thunk*
Not that you could use this often but it's just so funny.
I'm just picturing people coming across this message..

Splooge in the X-wing cockpit (pun!) FTW

Anyone here seen the Wes Anderson short film Hotel Chevalier?
It's got a fully naked Natalie Portman in it, and besides that, it's a really great short film with some superb cinematography, and features the great song Where Do You Go To (My Lovely) by Peter Sarstedt.
Clocking in at only 13:05 it's definitely worth a watch (for many reasons).
