I tried to watch Bored to Death, but it left me exactly that - bored... to death. I got halfway through the first season and gave up.
As for Summer Heights High, I'm surprised it's not huge over there, it's so funny! Creator/writer/actor/etc. Chris Lilley is one of the funniest people on the planet - he plays multiple characters that are focused on in documentary style. His first show We Can Be Heroes: Finding the Australian of the Year was great too, and he just came out with a third, Angry Boys (which I've yet to see). They're all one-season shows, so they're easy to watch too.

He sat around and couldn't get a project off the ground for over a year. So, you can definitely say that he came tearing out of the gate. However, they gave a young Orson Welles full control of the production. Kane is simply undiluted Welles on crack, with a great writer and brilliant and innovative people who actually wanted to do more than the same 9-5. Also, one must mention the fact Welles was usually on Benzedrine at this point in time. That's what makes it stand out. And all of the primary gushers for the film wouldn't even consider letting the man make another film. It took decades for it to even be considered as good, let alone even be shown.
I get all that, and I consider it one of the few all-time greats as well, but it's still a movie about a newspaper mogul, and that can only not be boring for so long before it gets boring.
I agree, it works very well, and I also have trouble listening to it at all.
And yeah, it's catchy - every pop song is catchy! It's too damn catchy, though, it's like catching a cold. It just gets in your head and you feel like it's going to explode if you can't get rid of it.
I can't believe I forgot to add Da Ali G Show to my list of funniest shows! It's sorta overshadowed by the movies now (in the majority view), but my god was that show funny.

I agree, it became way too much the "Jim & Pam Show", and poor Michael was 'looking for love in all the wrong places' in almost every episode. It was mushy and boring and not funny. But this past season was actually really funny, so I still have hopes it can redeem itself with one or two solid last seasons.
I think the UK Office is funnier in some parts, but the US Office is funnier in most.

My sister's cat does the same thing. She won't drink out of her bowl unless she's stuck her paw in it first. I have no idea if she's testing it for something or if she's just a weirdo.
Letting you touch her face and paws is good though, that's a sign of a friendly cat. And my cat sleeps in boxes constantly - we have a box with a towel in it that he prefers to any bed in the house.

Ooh that sucks. It's a "music cloud", you put your entire music library online and can access it from anywhere. I have 100GB of music, and it's taking it all.
Not m4a files, though, which sucks. But I only have a few of those anyway.
Google Music is pretty amazing. 20,000 song limit with no space specifications. Uploading 16,667 songs from my library... May take a while, but totally worth it (and totally free to boot!).
