There was a thread similar to this around a while back, but it wasn't as concise as this one.
Anyway, I always find myself wondering why people chose their usernames or avatars, or what they mean, and I always want to ask but there's nowhere to do so. Hence - this thread.

I had a message from someone like 5 minutes after I signed up it was crazy! And then some of my friends all started tagging me in pictures of some pretty horrible looking people. How can they just do that, shouldn't I have to approve it first? No wonder I left this place..
My time machine can go to a specific time and place, so I'm going to appear in a cloud of smoke on the set of Breakfast at Tiffany's during this scene. I take her into my arms and march valiantly back into the machine, where I set the time to 2154. We step out into the peaceful future utopia and make love upon the wet morning grass, hidden from all except mother nature herself. As the hours draw to a close and the repercussions of my spacetime alterations begin to dawn on me, we say our tearful goodbyes and exchange our last glances, and I return her, unharmed, yet not unsoiled, to simpler times...
I commented on the new Star Wars page about the OT, and someone replied
"NO!!!!! CGI fix ups win over cardboard and glue models any day...." Luckily Ady came to the rescue, and now he's one of my first facebook friends!

Whether or not it is worth $15 really depends on the person. Four new maps for the price of a dinner out isn't so bad if it means hours of fun online with old friends, but to most people it is borderline highway robbery.
Buffy Summers blowing limbs off of soviet zombies on a frozen wasteland is not a gimmick, it is a wet dream come true.

You give me hope that I could get away with owning a Millennium Falcon bed... The Firefly travel posters I used to have in my room were pretty risky, but I never had an overnight guest comment on them (kind of to my disappointment), so I felt like I was getting away with a lot of nerdiness as it was. In the future I may have to push the envelope...

That's awesome! Ever since those first came out I've always wanted to get a full set to put around my apartment/house. Sadly, I've never had the money for them, or even an apartment with wall size to fit them.
