Very good idea changing the pitch of her voice! How did you go about doing it?
Very good idea changing the pitch of her voice! How did you go about doing it?
I just read Dawn of the Jedi yesterday. It's not bad at all-- in fact, the premise is very fun. So much of the EU demystifies Star Wars lore anymore, that, in a way, Dawn succeeds.
If the story is going to go back as far as is relevant (or possible, for that matter), then Dawn is at least a fun way to depict what went on.
My main feeling is that no galaxy, no matter how long ago, no matter how far away, can LOOK exactly the same for 25,000 years.
By the by, stuff in the EU I do like:
Zahn
I, Jedi
NJO
Luceno's Prequel novels
Prequel adaptations
In that photo of Peter Mayhew holding ANH:R, what cover art is that?
I can't recall where exactly, but Ady has said that he will be revisiting the prequel trilogy all at once. What that means in regards to the structure of the PT:R is unclear, but what he inferred is the work would be drastic.
Thanks for answering! I'll look into the settings. And apologies for the off-topic detour.
Sooooo, how's about that ESB:R, huh?
Of all the movies to be released this summer, I'm the most excited for ESB:R.
Funny, that.
Side note: why is the number of posts in a thread different when I'm logged in versus out? This thread has 1014 pages prior to log-in, and only 720 once I have.

It's a lot of Walter Pecks shouting about the fakery of it all with all the righteous pomp of a Dunning-Kruger test case.
You win this thread. Genuine LOL, from someone who used to watch Dennis Miller Live never knowing quite what the hell he was referencing half the time.

I can explain it: the loudest guys in this thread are stupefyingly ignorant blowhards. It's a lot of Walter Pecks shouting about the fakery of it all.
That said, TServo, help me keep the site goodies for members only; lots of reasons. We'll use, like, the honor system. Cool?
You may now return to accusing me of feeling superior, yet spending all your energy constantly talking about me for three straight days after I've left the room.
_Mike
I'll likely be banned for this.
Look! Three days later you're here again demonstrating your stupefyingly tremendous ego. I'm shocked. Why not pull your head out of your ass and realize that the real problem isn't the veracity of your work, but rather that you are an asshole.
Guys, guys... Let's concentrate on what's REALLY important.
HE'S WINNIE COOPER'S HUSBAND.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I wanted to return here to let everyone know about the commencement of Legacy 2.0, but now that things are going again, I really need fewer social media sites to check rather than more, so all future discussion will be happening in the forums.
See you there!
MTFBWY,
_Mike
Darn.

... and yet that is the very reason mine's superior. Ironic. Life's funny that way.

That statement has... flaws. To put it mildly.
I've read through this thread, as well as various posts on your own Legacy site. You come off exceedingly pleased with yourself and you are, to put it plainly, rude.
I know the simplest solution is to not read this thread or ignore you, which after this post I most certainly will do. I'm stunned, though, at your lack of class and your lack of respect for the work of others.
I won't echo the sentiments of others here on this forum, but I do hope you find great satisfaction in knocking the work of others that, quite visibly, has brought members of this site together, while your project has brought only you... and, well, only you and it together.

One of my early iterations of Legacy was largely based on the 2004 DVD. It's more trouble than it's worth, and mostly, the best stuff simply isn't in the data anymore to pull out. You can improve it on its own, but you can't use it as a proper source.
I think Harmy's Despecialized is a nice offering which could've gone to much greater lengths to improve upon the sources it draws from. Adywan's tasteless, amateurish hackjobs represent the antithesis of everything my project stands for. Half of what keeps me going in the dark times is just knowing that that his shit is out there making things worse. So I guess they're not total wastes. I'm convinced he gave Lucas the idea for those godawful blinking Ewoks with all of his After Effects 101 dicking around.

At least their work is available to view.
The same cannot be said for yours.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand... The results are superb. OUT on the iPad. *Yay.

Winning.
Shush, you.
Anyway, I'm currently using Handbrake to rip the 720p DEED for the iPad. Looking forward to the results! I think I'll be ripping as many of the fan edits/preservation efforts as possible- I can be a nerd wherever I go.
Thanks again, Harmy, for your work (you, too, DJ, as i know you're reading this thread!)

Okay! I think I'm done with the set, though I'm not sure which ROTJ I like better.
and the set:
Definitely want to save these on my HD if anyone ever had them...
anyone to share these?
I honestly don't think they exist.

IMO Forrest Gump is one of the best films ever made. It just went down on my list, because I've seen it like million times - I already watched it like 10 times since I got it on Blu-Ray. I think I'm gonna go watch it now...
I agree with you! That film still connects to me emotionally EXACTLY the same way it did when I first saw it. It's my girlfriend's favorite film, so we watch it a lot in our home.
In no particular order:
-Star Wars
-Ghostbusters
-Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
-Terminator 2: Judgment Day
-Jurassic Park
-Se7en
-The Silence of the Lambs
-Back to the Future
-The Nightmare Before Christmas
-Alien
-Kingdom of Heaven (194 Minute Director's Cut)
-Superman: The Movie
-Jaws
-RoboCop
-Raiders of the Lost Ark
-Tombstone
-Unbreakable
-28 Days Later
This list has all the movies that I can sit down to watch and enjoy immediately. My love for them has never dulled due to repeated viewing; they are fresh experiences every time. Also, these movies are all very inspiring creatively and get my engines going in that respect. These are the films I can't wait to share with my kids (in the case of some, when they're old enough!)
"You're a Gungan, aren't you?"
And, as Queen of the planet, I have no idea about the species sharing it with me...
I loves me The Phantom Menace, but this always bothered me. Oh, and:
"The day started pretty okey-day with brisky mornin' munchin', then boomdegasser, crash into the boss's headlibber, then banished."
I think. Anyone want to check my copy here?
Uuuuuuuuuuuuum...
I bought some of those Dynex cases today, and they fit the Struzan art perfectly. I print my covers from my Mac's Preview window, specifying actual size, or print whole image.
By the way, I was kind of wrong before. The covers don't take up all the space, as seen below.
But even my retail Blu's look like this, too.
Lol, yes! And just below it, obscured by the DVD I'm holding is DJ's V3 set.

About these Blu-rays: I'm literally watching Episode II as I post this and I do have to say the teal shift makes it seem less cartoony. But the real reason I 'm posting this is because I noticed that during Anakin's dream, there is now audio of his mother crying his name (in a distressed way). I just thought this was odd since its a change that I didn't even hear about. It's actually a good change in my opinion because, well, that dream was a little weird before. It makes me wonder though, are there more audio changes that people have found? If most people missed this one than surely there's more. Anyone know?
I posted earlier that there is possibly new audio in Revenge of the Sith, when the clones repel from the rafters during Obi-Wan's battle with General Grievous. They are shouting commands now and can be heard communicating. I swear it's new, but I'm not entirely sure. I don't have an Episode III DVD handy for comparison.
Promus...
Surprisingly, some folks disagree with you and your sentiments. Why do you goad people for sharing their feeling on this subject? You are making coming to this website quite the displeasure.
I'm using standard Blu-Ray cases. I sort of cannibalized my own collection for them. It seems to me that you are having printing problems of some kind, maybe? Relative to the image, is there any of it missing? The cover should occupy all of the clear plastic real estate. If it isn't, it's probably a printing issue.
I'm going to investigate those cases. On that note, have you ever visited this site?
