Not quite sure if it’s that, but during the “Obi Wan taught you well” scene I’m seeing two layers of grain, one’s moving like a regular celluloid grain, one looks like a still overlay. It’s visible during slow pans and tilts, on larger areas of same color.
Hey, Harmy! Just played the opening of ROTJ 2.5 to sooth the desire (can’t watch whole thing right now) and I noticed some weird brightness fluctuations on Death Star around 00:02:07 and the big ship around 00:02:27.
There’s only one shot left using the GOUT - it’s sort of an homage really
