It also applies to the outrage people get over incredibly minor things like this.

I’m definitely not “outraged” by it, but if they had to do this they should have put more effort into making it still look good. It’s fine for most of it, but Han’s blasterless photoshop job looks quite silly because they didn’t change the position or look of his head and having him look like that but with his arms at his side looks a bit silly. The original poster was better.

I’m not “offended” that they decided to not have blasters on the poster or anything, but I do wish they would have gone about it better.

Yeah it’s not like she would just stop all the extreme life or death circumstances around them to act jealous right then could she? Wouldn’t be the time. And she wasn’t there when they kissed was she? Honest question, don’t remember.

And this is all assuming Finn and Rey were to be a thing anyway. Seems to me she’s more interested in Kylo anyway.

Under the Skin

Masterpiece.

Johnanson’s nude scene is what got all the press, but it’s an interesting, highly unusual film that I sort of observed at arm’s length for its technique and style rather than getting involved in it.

I wanted to like that, but it frustrated me to no end.

Terror Train- Utterly mediocre Halloween knockoff. Does almost nothing interesting with its setting, which some other directors would have a field day with. Not particularly gory by today’s standards, though too well-made to qualify as straight exploitation. John Alcott, Stanley Kubrick’s cinematographer, does conjure up a few interesting images and shadows. Otherwise, not shot with much style, uninteresting characters, doesn’t milk any of its ideas enough, and not outrageous enough to work as exploitation. Sadly, overall, just boring.

Wow. How do you go from lensing The Shining to Terror Train? A job is a job I guess. I’m curious enough to check it out now.

That’s exactly it, it’s the lighting in the scene. I have no trouble recognizing him from the “The shield doors must be closed,” scene to tnhe “Everybody to your stations, let’s go!” scene, it’s just that the mustache seems to disappear for that one bit with Han.

Anyway, anyone else see this?

I just bought the LP reissues of the OT soundtracks on that snappy gold vinyl from Barnes & Noble so I doubt I’ll go for these right away. Hopefully it’s a harbinger of more rereleases to come. I dare not hope for the OUT, but at least maybe they’ll finally retire those awful 2011 discs.

If it’s the OSTs, don’t care. If not, very excited.

Yeah but I’d say the chances of it bay being the led zeppelin discography are pretty slim.
