Wow, 2 pages and maybe 3 posts actually doing what the thread is for.

For me, and I know many won’t agree, I don’t get the complaint of how Vader supposedly completely changed in ROTJ. I mean yes, he is a bit less intimidating and ruthless, but wasn’t that the point of his whole arc? I always viewed it as him having an encounter with his long sought after son, maiming him, then losing him a bit as having shaken him up and planting the seeds for the films fanale.

I thought it looked bad in the theaters and I was in the fifth grade. Nothing else in the prequels looked bad to me at the time (although I didnt like them nearly as much as the OT) but even my simple fifth grade mind wondered whY return of the jedi made in 1983 had A better looking space battle than this new movie.

Man, I usually don’t give a swimming shit about color accuracy but if that’s real it looks horrible and I’ve only even seen the film once so I’m not just used to the old coloring.

In his defense I wasnt offended by it and I don’t think he was tryimg to hurt. And I also don’t know that it was necessary to announce to everybody that you were sending him a message about one of his posts, kinda plays right in to the hands of the camp that think (some) of the mods here (sometimes) treat people like children who need scolded.

and possibly that paja may be a little off - as many of us are when suffering from ailments / illness etc.

Well that and while I appreciate that it wasn’t a “scolding” I still don’t see the point in announcing it to the public forum instead of just, you know, sending the pm. But I guess that’s just his way of doing things.
