I’ve been listening to alot of old Norwegian Black Metal lately. Possibly not a good thing, it sort of resurrects a past version of myself that was very negative and had alot of morbid (but not violent… Towards others anyway) thoughts and feelings but that stuff has a feeling that speaks to me, for better or for worse. I’ve been listening to old Mayhem. My mind goes really negative whenever I start listening to this stuff again but I guess we can’t escape who we are.

Modern black Metal, while sometimes still musically brilliant, will never have the same dark magic and truly sinister feel.

I’d like to live in somebody else’s house that had those things without their knowledge.

But on a serious note my great grandma’s house was like that. Made for great playtime with cousins as a child.
