I actually agree with you in the argument going on in the Random Thoughts thread as well. At first I tried to reply nonsensically and silly in an effort to cool the tensions, but then galacticsemen jumped in and made a point to state what could have been a nice, simple thought of his beliefs but instead he purposefully worded it to be as conceited, condescending, and mockingly as possible.
That'd be pretty difficult seeing as it was never released in any form.
I agree. Not personally subscribing to something doesn't make it rubbish. And the odds are not very slim, the odds are exactly 50/50. Even if you do believe everything about evolution and all that, you still cannot prove that there was not an intelligent design put in place to begin the process, on earth anyway. You cannot. Therefor, the odds are 50/50.
I don't think it's nonsense to suggest that God might not exist. God might not exist. But it IS nonsense to suggest that the notion that god exists is nonsense. nonsense!
Yeah don't go, nobody wants you to leave off topic. And even if they did, who cares what they think? Just because Bingowings is missed doesn't mean you wouldn't be. You don't have to agree with everybody on everything to get along. I disagree with you on some things, but that doesn't mean I want you to leave OT.

I'm still giggling at darth_ender saying he didn't tap that.

Darth_ender, would you be offended if I used this as my signature? I mean no disrespect or disagreement, it's just that this sentence sounds so funny out of context...
About a year ago I purchased a fantastic 65 inch flatscreen Mitsubishi used for 140 bucks. It's wonderful and still working perfectly. I got it for so cheap because it isn't a flat panel so nobody wanted it. It looks as good as any of the new displays I see. And it's true that buying it used provided me with no warranty and it breaks I just have to buy a new one, but for 140 USD it'd have to break about 10 times before I paid as much as a new one, and it's over a year with no problems already.
Did you wear the same shorts both days?
I refuse to believe that tentacle porn really exists, and am not willing to look at any evidence saying otherwise.
Yeah but that was also me one time.
If that's directed at me I don't blame you for saying that. I was going through some tough shit at the time and I didn't have any Dulcolax at the time, if you'd made that joke now I would have just played along.

I agree that professional sports is a bore, that's for sure. If you like football and really want to get that excitement it used to bring to you back, I recommend watching college sports. College basketball and football are, to me, much more exciting than the pro variants. Without any money on the table nobody is playing just because, everybody is playing out of love for the game, so all the players try harder and emotions run higher. NBA basketball is a snooze fest compared to college. For me anyway.
I hate to tell you, college sports, namely Division 1A Football and Division 1 Basketball are all about money as well. The colleges make money the bowl games make money, the conferences make money, the people that run tournaments make money, the coaches make make money, the people that own stadiums make money, the sponsers make money, one the of the reasons the kids are playing is to try to get into the NFL/NBA to make money. There is also a growing argument that the college athletes should get paid. If you really want your sports free of money, you need to go watch highschool sports. Sad, but that is the way it is.
No shit, but the PLAYERS don't make money, therefor for the ones actually PLAYING the game, it's all (or mostly) about the sport.
And actually I played basketball in high school, and it was fun. :D I was even pretty good.
A person's taste doesn't make them self hating. What a load of garbage. That's like saying people who like death metal are in favor of murder.
IT'S ALL ABOUT ME AND THIS IS A PROPORTIONAL REACTION. D:

I think you should add requesting a full fan edit be made for something you personally want.
(note:does not include making suggestions on an already ongoing fanedit)

Don't say that, I'm not sure if the NFL will be able to get by without you.
(by the way, I am only your enemy in this thread, don't consider me an enemy in general. :P)

They should not have been playing that game in the first place. My point is the NFL was saved by that one interception. if that had not happened they would have made some other call that would have caused the Patriots to win.
Tell me since the Patriots got away with cheating this season why should they not cheat next season. I wish I lived in your world where crime didn't have to be punished to stop it. Since you believe that I take it you also believe we should get rid of prisons and the police.
You are focusing on one play that is why you can't see my point because you think the season only consisted of that one play. Well new flash there is more then one play in a game of football!
The point is the very act of letting them play in the game and not fining them and suspending players for cheating shows that the NFL is fine with it and that for the Patriots cheating pays big time. That play would have never happened if the NFL had done the right thing, instead they have not done anything and that proves they are rigging the game. Again look how hard they came down on one guy for gesture no one saw that had no impact on the outcome of the game. The NFL isn't not doing a thing because they can't they choose not to, so they have given the patriots permission to cheat and announced that they will be allowed to do anything as long as it results in a patriots victory.
Again you have to look beyond one play of the season and look at the bigger picture to see this so I will spell this out one last time in the smallest words I can find.
THE
PATRIOTS
ONLY
GOT
INTO
THIS
GAME
BY
CHEATING.
SO
THAT
PLAY
SHOULD
NEVER
HAVE
HAPPENED.
THE
PATRIOTS
WERE
NEVER
PUNISHED
FOR
CHEATING
SO
THE
NFL
HAS
GIVEN
THEM
PERMISSION
TO
CHEAT
IN
ALL
FUTURE
GAMES.
I hope that clears things up for you.
Where is DanFun when you need him?
Also, yes that clears a lot of things up for me. Most of them have nothing to do with the NFL though.
Did you not just say you think the Patriots will win every game from now on? They would have lost the game just now had the Seahawks not made a dumb call. And you openly admit you don't think the NFL made them make the dumb call. Therefor, even by your own reasoning, the Patriots won that game because of the Seahawks mistake, not because the Patriots cheating. It must really suck to see the world the way you do.
I still love Nemesis, and I don't care who knows it! Yes it's different and not exactly formula star trek, but there's just something about the tense and almost creepy ambiance that appeals to me. Plus I LOVE the starfields in this movie in particular. The one in the last space battle with the green tints to it always drew amazed me, especially when I saw it in the theater.
