If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place
Time

I really, REALLY hate it when people are rude to cashiers for any reason.  I used to be one, and it pisses me off when I see other customers doing it.  Cashiers have NO power, NO say, NO input.  Is it their fault the lines are long?  No.  Do you think they just went to the boss and asked, "hey, do you mind if I can be the only lane open today?  I'll take them all, thanks."  Oh your coupon to save 50 cents didn't work?  Oh that's a shame, it must be the cashiers fault for messing with your eyes in a way that prevented you from reading the english on the coupon.  Oh the items a piece of crap and didn't work?  The cashier will try to do better the next time they design the merchandise.  Oh your card was declined or your check bounced?  I'm terribly sorry, the cashier will do their best not to rob your bank accounts before you come into the store next time.  Oh no they made a mistake and you had to wait 5 minutes for a manager to come correct it?  I guess not everybody has gone for their whole career without screwing up.

The amount of shit cashiers have to put up with is astounding, and I always go out of my way to be as nice as possible to cashiers and if anybody I know is ever mean to them it pisses me off, it's called decency.  The cashier is a human being (much as customers like to pretend they don't exist and that they are just an automated checkout machine... oh until they need help that is!)

Also it kills me the people that look down on cashiers and treat them as unintelligent and lower class... then can't look at the credit/debit card reader and figure out what to do!  Every time that happens I wish the they would say "Oh, I wouldn't know anything about that I'm just a cashier, you're smart you can do it!"

In short, the lack of common courtesy and basic decency to other human beings in the world today is astounding.

My high E string is broken. Oh well, I did need a change of strings. Maybe I'll be able to convince the guy at the shop to change the pots, since last time he was adamant they were fine.

I disassembled my laptop and seem to have fried the touchpad. Serves me right I guess.

That's why I have 4 guitars so that when one breaks a string the next in line is ready!

I'm happy to announce that this edit will feature segments of xxtelecine 7xx's Star Wars Continuity Project.  :)  Much thanks to him for allowing this collaboration.

I had already planned on giving the lightsabers white cores, but his method sure beats my method of merely subtly boosting the contrast in certain shots.

Also, if anybody cares about this I'm using the blu ray sound mix for most of this.

If you can find the coke and sprite and fanta that comes in glass bottles that were made in Mexico, they have real sugar.  (all the information on the bottles are in spanish... that should be your tipoff :P)

I live in southern Illinois, and alot of gas stations and grocery stores sell them.  They come in glass bottles, and the Coke/Sprite logo is intact and underneath it it says "Un bebe refresco de coca cola company" (not exactly that but something very similar and probably more correct).  They are delicious, seriously they are so much better than the normal cokes because they use cane sugar.  They are wonderful.  Plus coming out of a glass bottle also makes the taste better.

If you can't find them look for your "local" sodas at walgreens or other similar places that come in glass bottles,  a lot of the small brand sodas still use real sugar.

The part about guitars is definitely true as well.  Even Eric Clapton has said that the expensive guitars are only more expensive to maintain but aren't better guitars.

Here's a picture of Stevie Ray Vaughan with his famous, and most favorite "Number 1" guitar:

I would dare to say that this is not a thousand dollar guitar made from the finest parts.  :) (In fact, he found it in a pawn shop for cheap before he got famous because it was all he could afford).  But listen to him play it and it sounds amazing, just because of the hands it is in.

Of course it's worth  hundreds of thousands now, but that's only because it was his guitar.

I use a high quality audio-technicha I ordered from amazon.  It's modeled after the techniques of old.  It's excellent, great sound and it's direct drive.  Don't bother getting a record player driven by a belt.  I mean if you already have one that works it's not worth replacing just for that, but if you're in the market for a new one get a direct drive one.

I've actually been looking to buy that one, but I don't have any extra spending cash right now.

Don't you also have to buy speakers as well?

Not if you buy a turntable from the 30's!  But seriously though, record players will connect to any stereo receiver or home theater system, they have red and white rca plugs as output.
