HAHAHA.  Man I must have been wasted when I wrote that.  I meant to say that the third one sucks.  I love the first two with a few exceptions, and they took the exceptions from the first two and turned them into Donkey Kong Country 3.  I love the second one, but okay you take DONKEY KONG out of the game and replace him with some little girl.  Alright Dixie turns out to be freakin awesome with her ponytail glide thing so I can deal.  But then you take out Diddy... the last ties to the original game and replace him with... A BABY!?!?!?!?  It's like they were just trying to make it lame!  You go from the great duo of Diddy and DK to a girl and some oversized toddler.  Not  to mention every level is a gimmick.  You're either a different animal the whole level, spending the whole level climbing against a rope that's on a fuse, in the dark, or something else preposterous.  No fun levels.  Don't even get me started on the one where lighting comes out of the sky to strike you down.  It's not that it's too hard... it's just not fun.  I give it 2 bananas out of 5 for at least having Dixie.

I would have thought that the mere fact that I responded by quoting Obi Wan would have let it known that I was kidding as well.

Ooooh... then add constant camera shakes for shots of ships flying around.  Or better yet, standing still.

For some reason, and I'm not going to name names as to whose fault this might be, but I just opened this thread to the last page and without seeing what the story before it was about I thought Frink said "Yoda is wasted on the young".  This raised my expectations for what the story could be to a height reality could never live up to.

Add lens flare.

That's quite a collection.  Don't stop growing, you might have 2... even 3 books some day.

Atheists can love... and it's a movie not something to base your life around.

Still though, I found it to be extremely emotional and touching.

Interstellar (2014)

I have no words for how awesome this movie is.  The visuals are breathtaking, the story almost had me in tears at one point.  It has flaws, it has problems, and I don't even care.  5 stars out of 5.

I finally got a refrigerator!  Now I can hopefully lose some weight since I can actually make my own food again and not have to eat out every night.  (I know it's possible to eat out healthy, but it's much easier to make good tasting healthy food yourself than it is to find a restaurant serving good tasting healthy food).  

Not that I'm fat or need to lose weight in general, I mean nobody would look at me and think I'm fat.  I've just put on about 5 or 10 pounds in the last year and think it would be best to nip it in it's slightly over sized bud before it becomes a problem.

 Fortunately it usually does with video games, at least NES and forward.  Not so sure about atari and prior.  I've been playing the original super mario bros games for NES and the donkey kong country games for SNES, and while there is a huge amount of nostalgia for those games even with that aside they are fun as sh*t.
