In my store last year some lady had to be taken to the hospital over an altercation that occurred over FUCKING WASH RAGS.
I work retail and am not close to very much of my family, so Thanksgiving/Christmas time holds nothing but misery for me. I’m not just being melodramatic or comically complaining about the holidays, I really hate them.
I don’t hate the concept or the principle, it’s just that this time of year all I really see as far as the Christmas spirit is the greedy, selfish, shitty side of people. (obviously not all I see, but compared to a normal time of year christmas and thanksgiving is particularly miserable.)
I never went to college, and I’ve made it as far as manager, it’d be unlikely for me to be able to get a better job anywhere else without going to school, which I can’t afford.
Supposedly there’s a live action Mega Man movie in the works. I wish it were based off of the “Mega Man X” series, as in my opinion the characters, story, and tone are much cooler than the original Mega Man, and the “X” series always seems to get passed over when it comes to anime and stuff like that.
Although, it will probably be horrible, so perhaps it’s good that it isn’t based off of the X series, as I’d hate for it to become tainted. (more than X7 already has tainted it… although x8 more than redeemed it IMHO)
Ah. I was not aware of the comics. I was aware that he backed up his memories into B4, but I was under the impression that his circuitry wasn’t complex enough to fully support it. I took it to be more like an interactive computer with data’s memories in files and folders than an actual Data. But like I said I’m only going by what’s actually revealed in the movie.
My money is on the adventures of the Enterprise J in the 26th century. That way they stay in the prime universe, but are far enough away from the previous shows, (the way TNG was from TOS) to be a fresh take on things.
They’ll find a way for Data or Q to show up of course. 😉
