Ugh I hurt my foot. I don’t know how. I was just sitting down and when I stood up it was all the sudden sprained. All I can do is limp awkwardly. And seeing as my job involves me walking 10 to 15 (if not more) miles a day (wear a step counter sometimes) so works going to be fun for a while.

Lol I didn’t even know that existed til now. And it’s got a rotten tomatoes score of a whole 8%! Should be worth a watch.

Eh. The originals are fun and obviously get major props for starting the whole thing but the X series is, in my opinion, better in every conceivable way.

Although I do like the originals. 3s my favorite.

You can play as zero in 3, there’s a Rom hack that even lets you play as him unlimitedly. I Agree that zero is pretty bitchin in the PlayStation ones, but the original 3 just have such killer tone and imagery. I felt like X was only hunting maverick in his spare time away from playing guitar for Slayer.

Abd about X8, you should seriously play it. It is exactly NOTHING like x7 other than being able to take 2 characters to a level. Its a pure homage to the first 5, incorporating elements from both the SNES and PS ones. Its tone and music honor the SNES games but it has a lot of features of the PS ones too, and zeros sword control is fantastic. They also made axl a unique and useful player instead of just a weaker X with autofire and shape shifting. Except for 2 levels it’s all 2d too and those are just autoscroll JetBlue levels.

Take it from someone who loves the first 5 and hates 7 (6 is just meh), 8 is a great experience. You can tell they actually tried on this one to please the fans. It even has decent voice acting. (Ever played the RPG MMX command mission? It uses the same actors from that)

Well, I mean, x5 is really good, but nothing beats the first 3 for SNES.

I’m surprised you wouldn’t agree, since as good as 4 and 5 for PS are, but the SNES ones are undeniably more metal. Lol from the soundtrack to the tone it’s just metal.

Although all the X games have a great soundtrack. Except 7 but everything about that one is awful. 8 makes up for it tho.

Indeed. I’m not really even in to super heroes but that’s just a fun game. I play it on my pc from time to time with aps3 controller.

The only good one was the one that came out about 2000 that has you stopping a bank robbery on first level. That game is fucking gold. Its best on pc but it was also ported to ps1, n64, and maybe dreamcast.

If anybody wants to try it out it works perfectly on my Windows out straight from the disc even with it’s age.

Which is a catch 22. Because in some ways it feels like the job causes me to drink. But on the other hand it feels like I’d drink a lot more if I didn’t have people keeping an eye on me. Notcing and saying something when my eyes get sunken in, when I have purple under them, when my skin gets pale. Asking if I’ve eaten.

I get told I look tired every day, its almost getting annoying.

Anyway, I think if I was left to my own devices I would completely self destruct.

I honestly don’t even care about the colors on the star wars blu rays, they look fine to me. The only thing that bothers me about the picture on them is that the contrast needs a bump up. (For reference notice that the lightsaber cores are sometimes not completely white like they are on older transfers.)

For my own personal viewing I use a version I cooked up myself using the blu rays video with boosted contrast then edited to the theatrical cuts timing and runtime but keeping the new visuals.

Also for some shots I Use telecines versions of the blu rays with re-rotoscoped lightsaber blades and lasers, and a few other fixes. (Can’t believe those didn’t get more attention He did the whole trilogy in full 1080p hd quality. I mean it’s not like on the level of detail as adywans but it fixes the more obvious flaws and he did the whole trilogy.)
