Damn, I’d much prefer another Clerks movie to another JASB movie. I mean, I really enjoy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but I feel that making another one would be even more indulgent.

Yeah but I think that’s the point. It’s a satirical reboot making fun of the recent Hollywood fad of rebooting everything. If it has the right amount of self awareness I think out could be great.

That sucks, Netflix does 1080p no problem for me.

People younger than 30 isn’t the general consumer base for buying the star wars movies on blu ray. And unless Disney is living under a rock i don’t see how they could think releasing the out would be a financial gamble.

I’ve put my fifth album temporarily on hold while I work on this other project. Somebody in the emulator scene developed what’s called an MSU-1 chip. Basically it’s a tool that lets you replace the less-than-midi quality music in SNES games with pcm wav files. (It is an actual chip as from what I understand it is possible to do this on an actual snes with a specifically modified cartridge. I just use a patched snes9x so I can play the games on a big screen without pixelation) My sound has always been highly influenced by the soundtracks for the Mega Man X games for the SNES. (I’ve even covered side of them) They have a unique blend of metal, techpop, symphony, and excellent energetic-yet-somehow-sombre songwriting that was a hide influence on me and I’ve never heard it anywhere else. The closest I’ve heard is the Finnish Melodic Death Metal scene, probably why I like it so much, bit even it has a different vibe.

Anyway, upon discovering this, I decided I had to cover the entire soundtracks for all 3 games and insert them into the games to pay homage. I’m almost done with the first game, and will release it soon. I will release it as a standalone music pack with a readme with instructions on patching your ROM to play these. (Now that there’s a patched SNES9X available that supports this it’s quite easy)

Here’s a track from it. It’s not a particularly iconic track, but it’s the one I did today. Besides, wouldn’t want to give away the big reveals before the pack comes out!

Rest assured, it’s better. Although I may also be biased, not because my hair particularly looks like that, but because I also sport (and prefer on others) a completely natural style. Mines quite curly though. Looks quite suave and professional when it’s short (it’s not the “bunched up” kind of curl, when short it just looks wavy), while when longer it has more of a Frodo Baggins look. So I go in cycles where I let it it grow out and have the frodo look for a while because it actually does look quite good (I’m not somebody that likes to brag on myself, but I will admit that I have really good hair according to women and it’s very thick and according to my family history I’m likely to have it until the day I die as thick hair runs in the family and baldness does not) then cut it off again and go back to the “suave” look. (not the shampoo, the word. Lol)
