Its just that the ROTJ alterations, while annoying and dumb aren’t nearly as damaging as the ANH ones to tone. In fact I like the SE ending. And while Jedi rocks is obviously terrible, at worst it really only made a part of the movie that was already pretty stupid a little more stupid.

I don’t remember why I thought that, but either way I don’t remember it ever looking very good even on my old tube tvs.
Even if we don’t get the OOT, we will probably at least get a new transfer, so worst case scenario Despecialized will get alot better.

I will admit that the 97 se does sound really good… But honestly the 93 (and by extension 95 as it’s the same) mix is even better. Don’t let the lack of discrete channels fool you, turn on your pro logic and you’ll have in my opinion the best sound star wars has ever had, including the blu rays.
I’ve seen the SE, I don’t see how watching it in lower quality would make me like it better. If you’re into laserdisc that’s fine, but seeing as there are plenty of high quality (for laserdisc anyway) OOT releases to choose from I can’t see watching a laserdisc and still going for the SE.
So you’re willing to resort to laserdisc and still watch the SE sometimes, even on laserdisc? That’s gotta be a jailable offence 😛
Just watched the unedited Special Edition (2011) of Return of the Jedi while mentally taking note of trims to make for my eventual fanedit. I give it a 7. (keeping in mind that some of the more egregious SE changes didn’t bother me because I knew I would be removing them anyway)

No I’m not. From what I read about the specs the switch can’t even hold a candle to consoles released ten years ago. Even if it weren’t about the graphics, Nintendo has only 2-3 major IPs (Mario, Zelda, Pokémon) that are just updated versions of games we played 20 years ago. They are now decades behind the times in terms of online gaming, and I’m not sure how the switch is even that different from the Wii U (other than it uses cartridges instead of discs). This is easily going to flop and bankrupt Nintendo within two years.
Have you not heard about how hard they’re trying to get good 3rd party support? That’s going to make a huge fucking difference.

Somehow I doubt this. For one thing, women give hugs for many reasons having nothing to do with being romantically interested in someone.
You can tell if it’s the latter based on the context and the type of hug.

For another, she could be facing you just because she is talking with you. If I were having this conversation in real life with you, I’d probably be facing you. It doesn’t mean I am interested in you. Finally, she just may not feel like crossing her arms or legs at that time.

I understand how this could be confusing, unfortunately I can’t think of a good way to explain it. It’s just a tendency to look for I guess.
Like I said it’s not proof positive. And I’m also not saying she’s interested just because she gives you a hug. I’m saying if her posture consistently indicates a"pre-hug" stance. Actually hugging has nothing to do with it. I’m merely saying the way she carries herself. Arms open to you, not crossed and not closed off. And like I said it’s just a hint not proof to go by.
Something I’ve noticed that’s a good indicator if a girl is interested, in my experience, it’s her posture with you. If she’s facing you and her arms or legs are “open” (not sexually lo) then it’s a good bet. By that I mean if she looks like she’s ready to give you a hug she’s probably interested. This isn’t a proof positive indicator though so don’t be discouraged if this isn’t the case.

Mario Kart 64 cheated a lot but it wasn’t almost completely impossible to get back in the lead if you messed up on the higher difficulties.
The way I always noticed the computer cheating on this game, even as a kid, is if you hit a computer with a shell and they are off screen they don’t actually take the hit. They just sort of “brake” for a second. You can catch them doing this if they are just barely off screen. I’m sure this was to save cpu, but they could have at least made them stop for the appropriate amount of time.
Yeah it’s sequels were definitely an improvement. Even Mario kart 64 is dramatically better.
