No need, I already ruled that hotdogs are not sandwiches.
Does that mean that hulk Hogan is also not a sandwich?

You rebels cum.
I might be misremembering the way he said that.
I’m fine, so I’m going to bitch about being the odd one out.
That’s just his abbreviated name, but I assure you he’s quite Canadian.
Or perhaps read the threads on all those projects on this site.
Nickleback has a new album out. It’s time to light the Earth on fire. Leave nothing unscathed.
As a fellow Canadian, I’m terribly sorry for Nickleback, Justin Beiber, Drake, The Weeknd.
Don’t forget duracellenergizer and ric2.
Archer. Fantastic and hilarious all the way through. Even the stories are well made in addition to being hysterical. Noticeable dip in season 6 but picks back up in 7. Also the later seasons trade some of the comedy for clever storytelling but the level of quality is the same. Although few series make me laugh as much as the first three seasons so it’s a bit disappointing even though it continued to be well done.
At the very end of a playthrough of star fox adventures for the GameCube. Played on a soft modified wiiu that plays cube games. Very underrated game. It’s like a Zelda game but more campy and with a sense of humor. Fantastic soundtrack and beautiful graphics, almost current gen level. Also looked surprisingly very good on my projector for being SD. (irritatingly enough the wiiu merely up scales the output image rather than actually rendering in hd like an emulator would. Which is a shame) it isn’t prefect and some areas are overly repetitive and some of the puzzles are just a pain instead of being challenging, but overall a very enjoyable experience. And the soundtrack sets the tone amazingly.
Right
Lol I was referencing the surround setting on a legend of Zelda game for n64 that used very good matrixed surround. Sorry for going massively off topic.
Yeah even my old pre faces vhs tapes have great* surround.
*great as in the pro logic gives the surround effect wonderfully, not overall sound quality.
Lol not even close. As I’ve said I don’t particularly like them, but I’m not so deluded as to think they are b movies just because they aren’t as good as the originals, or even particularly good in general.
Although you are right about esb not being on the list. I was confusing it with star wars, owhich for the sake of this argument doesn’t mean dick.
But this isn’t the “just *how* disappointing were the prequels” thread so we probably should stop this conversation, and it’s not really worth having anywhere else either.
I must be slightly crazy too, because while I wouldn’t say I LOVE a fanedited rots, I enjoy it enough (as well as the other two prequels fanedited) to be able to at least watch them as a saga.
I don’t think that they are even very bad. They just aren’t… Good. Sure some of the dialogue is awful, but there’s worse. It’s bad enough to keep them from being good, but not so bad that it makes them terrible. They are terrible if compared to esb, but that’s not saying much not many movies can survive that comparison.
I’ll bite…
I’d argue there are MANY films as good or better than ESB. And I say that as someone who for a very long time held ESB as far and away my favorite film ever (some other films have caught up with it in my favoritism but it’s still easily in my top 5 or better). But there’s a reason it’s rarely included on lists like the AFI’s top 100.
Second, the prequels are BAD movies. On so many levels that I can’t begin to understand people who try to argue they’re not. It doesn’t mean you’re a terrible person or stupid or any awful thing like that for liking them. I love lots of bad movies. I have a real soft spot for 50’s B movies and I unabashedly love Godzilla and other giant monster movies. But I can acknoweledge that many, even most, of those movies are bad movies by any reasonable criteria. I can understand why people criticize them or don’t find them enjoyable. Doesn’t stop me from loving them inspite (or often because) or their badness. But I’d never try to argue Plan 9 From Outer Space is some brilliant piece of high art with numerous layers or depth and meaning. THAT would be preposterously silly. Just like that ring theory nonsense…
If you think the prequels are anywhere near as bad as those then I don’t know what to tell you. I even said I don’t think they’re good, but equating them with plan 9 from outer space or a 50s b movie is crazy.
Also, esb is on quite a few lists, including the one you mentioned.
Depending on what all you use it for you can get a cheap acer laptop at Wal-Mart for less than a hundred bucks these days.
Ugh
Because, it’ll be in glorious pseudo-1080p Goodness! 😉
Speaking of pseud-things (and this takes the opposite perspective of the current conversation) but I saw someone on a forum calling dolby surround/matrix surround/pro logic (as in audio actually designed for use in pl not just pumping regular stereo
Through it) encoded surround “pseudo surround” just because it’s not discrete channels. Some people are so ignorant. A properly encoded dolby surround track ran through a pl2 capable receiver will sound amazing at half the bandwidth.
The ironic thing was he was using it to describe the surround setting in LOZ ocarina of time as fake surround. Which is ironic because it’s pro logic system it uses for surround is fantastic I actually used it to test my surround set up. (Picking up a bomb and throwing it behind the camera)
Her weakness is very explicitly her naivete.
This is not a weakness in the film. It could have been, but it wasn’t. When she goes to the front, she is told she cannot cross No Man’s Land. She doesn’t understand the kind of modern artillery firepower she is up against. She does it anyway and succeeds. She’s told there is a gas that can end civilization and kill millions of people. She has probably never encountered something like that before. She walks right into a cloud of it and lives anyway.
At no point did her naivety cost her anything. It was a nice storyline that I was digging, but it was never a weakness.
Thanks, now I don’t have to go see it to find that out!
I think I read somewhere that Harmy has a 1080p Despecialized version in the works. Is this true? Any updates on this?
This isn’t the thread for this, but to answer your question, after ESB 2.5, the plan is to do a 3.0 of all three films in 1080p, but who knows if/when it will ever be completed.
You can use a converter using convertxtoHD and change the reslution up to 1080p
Yeah but why
If you’ll match my current salary I’ll quit my job and do it for you.
