Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (octorox hybrid edit)

My thoughts on this are specifically about this edit, not the original. Honestly, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Obviously it wasn’t perfect, and didn’t have the magic charm that the original trilogy had, but this edit brings out the unique charm this film had the potential to have. And the way it’s edited actually causes the film to gain a lot of momentum and excitement. It was actually quite captivating. And, since barring the alternative of him never being in the film in the first place, had the perfect amount of jar jar. Not gratingly annoying like the original (Obviously some mild irritation), but not cut down to the point that it’s obvious that he’s been cut down. The original film had alot of heart that was ruined by everything else about it, this edit lets it shine through. Of course it’s not perfect. Some bad acting ( mostly anakin) and such. But all in all it was a very entertaining ride. I feel good giving it a 7 out of 10. (For reference I’d give the original maybe a 3 or so out of 10)

I was even vaguely considering watching them again at some point, maybe as part of my pre-TLJ marathon. Then you had to go and post pictures of the things I had completely forgotten. Octorox’s hybrid edit of the first two and hals edit of 3 make them enjoyable to me. None of the scenes just pictured are in them.

Telling you to see a doctor isn’t ignoring you, because you need to because what you’re saying isn’t true. I wish we could do what some forums do and have the first ten or so posts of new users approved by moderators before appearing.

I don’t think the goal of this is to correct to any specific print or source, just to make them look good. Which so far they do in my opinion.

Probably a misunderstanding. He probably took “smh” as in shaking your head in shame, since that’s usually what that means.

And reading about it, it’s terrible how little coverage it seems to have gotten.

I know this is an odd thought to take away from this, but I’m honestly surprised Alice Cooper kept letting him play with him after that. He’s always seemed like a (surprisingly considering his stage presence) very moral and kind family man behind the scenes. at least post-70s. Maybe he’s in denial about it.

I will admit that I *enjoy* fanedited eps II and III more than rogue one. But I wouldn’t ever say they are actually better made movies, that’s silly. I only enjoy them more cuz Rogue One isn’t really my style of movie.

I never even thought it was wedge.
