And Duracell should use his awesome avatar with him and the lasers and the 3d glasses.

Seconded. Definitely would rather see the person I’m interacting with than a person the person I’m interacting with has a crush on.

Funny, I was just thinking the same about you and your avatar.

Having an avatar of a random (Not real) thing and a woman you have a crush on aren’t the same. Hardly any body on a forum has themself as their avatar. Although if you really want to know what I look like it’s around here somewhere.

Well on a business trip type thing for work in Champaign, Il (Wal-Mart manager business trip… I know right?) Although it’s more of a bunch of seminars. Anyway it actually starts tomorrow and I’m just checked into the motel. Nobody else from my store is here and everybody I see wearing Wal-Mart clothes in the motel is ignoring my attempts at small talk. Two hours away from home alone and so far the other people that are here for the same reason as I am don’t seem interested in talking to me. (I seem to be the only one that got sent alone) this is gonna be a fun couple of days.

Neverar's A New Hope Technicolor Recreation (Final Version Released!)

The 97 mix is the best sounding mix for star wars to date on my setup, some content changes aside. The 93 mix sounds good on sound effects and dialogue but the score sounds very “worn out” or washed out, not in terms of volume but fidelity. The 97 mix still slightly has this issue but it’s not nearly as noticeable. The 2004/2011 mix is just awful. Weird cuz aside from content the newest mixes of esb and Jedi sound amazing.

This may be a stupid question, and I’m asking in this thread instead of the empire thread because I didn’t want to rain on its (well deserved) parade. I don’t know much about vfx work, but I’ve always wondered if you kept the project files and separate layers unrendered for a project, if, say, a few years down the line they finally release a better transfer of the films if you could just replace the base file in your editor and have the changes applied to the new transfer without having to do much besides tweak if there’s cropping differences? Sorry if it’s a dumb question but I’ve always wondered that.

The only YouTuber I care about (as in actually seeking it videos specifically made by him not just random videos here and there) is penguinz0/critical. Damn that dude makes me laugh. And because his format is so easy for him to make videos in he literally has close to 1000 videos I think, about tons of subjects. Basically his basic formats are either narrating over random videos he’s found, commentating over random (often bad but not always) video games as he’s playing them, dubbing over infomercials, and the occasional actual original content. Oddly enough even though he mainly just comments over stuff for hundreds and hundreds of videos it just never gets old and always makes me laugh.
