I just read Ender’s Game for the first time…wow! It’s a pretty well known book so I won’t give a review, just say that I enjoyed it. I connected with it like I haven’t connected with a novel in a while. And besides, the political and military angles to it were just fascinating .

You might not have guessed, but I’m a big fan of [Ender’s Game]. 😉

As am I.

I’m with you too. I like Speaker For The Dead too. After that I felt it got too “whacked out”, but I haven’t read them in a while. I read speaker a couple years ago and still love it but didn’t feel like getting a huge headache so I didn’t continue on to xenocide.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

If he does decide to use the imperial march again this time around, I wonder if he’ll use over of the alternate takes this time so it’s not so similar sounding to TESB. I seem to recall reading in the ESB thread years and years ago that he had regretted not doing this when he made ANH revisited.

Info Wanted: Can anything possibly be improved in ESB?
Time

Greater than AOTC? To be fair I haven’t seen either of them unedited in close to 10 years and I was pretty young at the time so I’m one of the lucky ones that fanedits can actually make the movie sit better in my mind because I truly don’t remember how bad the theatricals are. I just knew even as a teenager upon accidentally discovering fanedits looking for a way to watch the oot in DVD quality (I was a rare breed as a teenager that actually cared about a\v quality to the point I can actually remember being excited at the age of about 9 or 10 because our family had finally gotten a tv that had two speakers and even at that age I understood what mono and stereo was and I was excited to get stereo when playing my Nintendo 64… I was a very technically minded child which had helped me hugely with some of the hobbies I do now) that I would enjoy the prequels more with alot of the silly humor removed and so fanedits are basically how I remember them by this point.

That’s not really a diet vs regular issue. That being said, I looked into it and found conflicting results. I found some sources that backed what I said while some backed Frink, so who knows. I do know it’s rumored to cause brain tumors and my grandpa had to use the artificial sweetener (aspartame) they used in diet soda for almost anything that called for real sugar (even food) because his diabetes was so bad and he ended up dying of a brain tumor rather than anything diabetes related, but that’s not exactly conclusive.

I don’t yet have any interest in the switch. When I finish playing through the twilight princess remake for wiiu I plan on picking up breath of the wild for the wiiu.

Hey, how’s that going? How much have ya played and how do ya like it?

Progress in Twilight Princess is slow since I only play it when my dad is over, but the last time I played it I had just beaten the temple of time and I think I have to go to the sky next. I absolutely love it but I’m only doing the main quest so there’s huge areas of the overworld I haven’t even been to because I’m just not somebody that likes to do sidequests.

Cool! I love sidequests, but I’ll tell ya (spoiler free) that most of the ones in TP are a frustrating runaround with no rewarding story additions or valuable gear/treasure. Sticking to the main quest makes TP more enjoyable -IN MY OPINION- (I’m sure a certain someone will still pop in to argue this 😉 ).
I don’t remember the order of events in TP… have you gotten to the Hidden Village yet? I’ll remain spoiler free, but will say that that place has one of my favorite pieces of music in the entire series!

I don’t believe I have. And yeah I play Zelda games mainly to get immersed in the story and get escape to another world so sidequests don’t do much for me.

Which makes it interesting that Majora’s Mask is my favorite Zelda game. I just love the dark subject matter and themes throughout the game. It is LOADED with subtext of existential fear and it just really speaks to me.

Nobody should drink Dr. Pepper.

Coca-Cola is the only rightful soft drink.

Coke > Dr. Pepper

But I’m trying to remain no longer fat, so:
Diet Dr. Pepper > Diet Coke

Dying of thirst > any variety of Pepsi

Except that diet soda actually doesn’t help you lose weight/keep weight off as it slows your metabolism down. Not to mention it causes brain tumors, migraines, and sometimes strokes. I’ve also heard it’s bad for your kidneys. Killed my grandpa prematurely in fact. Just drink real soda in moderation.
