I used to agree, but sometimes history and context matter.

Example. Jokes about white men not being able to jump are largely okay, whereas jokes about black people stealing your stereo equipment are not.

(And no, I’m not just making a joke and disguising it, it’s a real stereotype at least where I live. Just clarifying in case of potential cultural misunderstandings)

They’re little red kiosks at supermarkets or drugstores where you can rent a movie or game for a couple bucks a day (it charges your card every day until you return it). They’re usually pretty convenient and carry Blu-Rays, too.

I honestly am surprised they still exist.

why? the prices is unbeatable. and they are generally super convenient. if i want to rent a blu-ray of a film i want to see, but don’t want to purchase, it is half the prices of renting it on a streaming service. if the prices of streaming rentals ever matches redbox, then i will stop redboxing.

Good… Half the price, double the quality.

A plan: Despecialization. We know it can be done. Now the question is... Can Molly do it?

I wouldn’t say any one filter.

Ive only used it on anime that was already DVD quality but just wanted it to look better on a bigger screen. My general experience is that it will make it look as good as a DVD will on a crt except on a much larger hdtv screen. (Meaning no extra detail or anything magic like that but also no jaggies, no pixelation, little rainbow and no blocky lines or edges like you would get if you just played the DVD on a large hdtv screen)
