I watch like one or two movies a month lol
Star Wars: Rogue One
Third time watching it, but due to technical problems with the first two viewings it feels like my first watch. I loved it. Had a very consistent tone and the humor was well balanced. I didn’t like it as much as TFA or TLJ because they had an emotional resonance to them that this doesn’t, but this one has less flaws than they do to me.
8 out of 10. Loses one star for being a little longer than it needed to be; As much as I enjoyed the film I was looking forward to it ending by about the last 20 minutes. Loses another star for cgi Tarkin. Looked okay, but not great and instead of being subtle and showing only what was necessary they blatantly showed it off and called attention to it, and it was just short of passing.
Might do that.
Going to make one more last minute tweak then send it, probably the day after tomorrow.
Yes. Character/acting wise it’s all great. He just looks iffy.
Currently watching this on my projector. Only the third time I’ve watched it. Didn’t particularly like or dislike it the first two times. But they were both plagued with technical problems. At the theater it was 3d and they didn’t turn it on so it was like double visions. The second time at home I didn’t have my computers blu Ray player program set up right and there was lots of dropped frames, worse than ntsc stutter.
This time I’m loving it. And it’s basically as good as seeing it in the theater would have been and I’m so much more immersed this time. Cgi tarkin is kinda lame though. If they had kept the angles more subtle it would have been okay I think.
I guess I should rephrase, no one responds to me anymore.
Message new people? Facebook can actually be a good thing.
I knew it was a joke BEFORE he even posted it. That’s how obvious it was.
I also suspect silverwook might be joking as well though.
Talk to other people more? They might just think you don’t want to talk. Show them they are wrong.
Okay so it was an odd thing to say. You’re all missing the big picture, which is that Disney is ruining star wars.
😶
I do really like theatrical RotS.
While I don’t, I will say I like an edited ROTS more than the SE of Return of the Jedi
What a weird thing to even make a comparison on.
Merely pointing out that not everyone totally hates the prequels, but not bashing those that do.

I haven’t seen Hal’s version but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen more PT edits than anyone, and nothing can be done to any prequel to pull it out of the bottom three.
In fact even ROTS theatrical cut is better
Yeah okay.
Btw I don’t even think the pt is crap like most people here do. What I think is crap is the way you express your opinions.
Ah, the old “my opinion is fact” routine. Still funny as ever, which is to say it’s not.

I agree that even in edits they are still in the bottom three but the gap gets shorter and they at least become enjoyable.
Neglify.
Excellent. Just need to figure out a way to share it.
Limp Bizkit - "My Generation"
Limp Bizkit - "My Way"
Limp Bizkit - “Rollin”And people complain about today’s music. I don’t know why I listened to three LB songs in a row either.
If you want to take a little experiment on what music in that style could sound like if actually done well I suggest giving the first and possibly second album by Static X a whirl. It’s that same kinda nu-metal but it’s actually done well and isn’t irritating.
There were a TON of jokes. Most worked in and of themselves but I just felt there was too many.
Would anybody like to give anh a test watch for me? I would compress it down to a 720p 5 GB or so file so it wouldn’t be to judge overall quality but more to see if there are any editing mistakes or glitches.
The only thing I didn’t like was the excessive humor.
Excessive being the key word. Most of it actually was funny, but I just felt it went overboard and broke tone sometimes. Same with TFA. A very light fan edit would fix it for me.
Unfortunately Google is on the side of TK-949, as little sense as that actually makes.
Personally my friends and I didn’t like the first Hobbit movie, so I’m honestly amazed the sequels got made.
What do you base that opinion on?
A lot of people I know who saw TLJ but said they’re now “Star Wars’d out”.
Oh shit. Some of the people you know are tired of star wars. That proves it, star wars is dead!
