I do not see any point in your post. Just because some diet soda comes in caffeine free form does not mean that all caffeine free soda is diet. It’s really quite simple.

I drink caffeine free coke. It’s regular coke, with all the excessive sugar and calories of regular coke, it just simply doesn’t have caffeine. You with me?

You understand that caffeine free doesn’t mean diet right? It’s literally the same thing but without the anxiety causing stimulant. Unless you’re being one of those people that thinks decaf isn’t really coffee. In the case of coke the difference in taste wouldn’t be noticeable to most people. The othersit’s slightly noticeable but it’s still close.

I wish they made caffeine free RC. I like RC but I make it a point to never use caffeine cuz it’s bad for my anxiety so I can’t drink it anymore.

Ditto for Mr. Pibb. Caffeine free coke is 95% as good as real coke and CF Pepsi is about 90% as good as cf Dr Pepper is about 80% as good but there is no rc or pibb that I can find.

I wish store brand cola came in caffeine free form without being diet also. Not because I’m cheap but because I actually really like Sam’s Club cola, it tastes like a coke/Pepsi hybrid but c.f. is only available in diet.

I suppose people who don’t mind sugar but don’t want caffeine is a small market. In my defense I only have one can a day at dinner or evening time. Occasionally two if I eat something that makes my mouth dry and I just need that coke on a dry mouth satisfaction.

Seems pointless I don’t think Ronster comes to off topic much.
