Hey!

I did watch ANH this morning before I went to work. I watched the last 15 minutes, because in this time the audio always was for ca. 1 minute out of sync. Now it is correct in sync and I enjoyed it. Your audio track is very good. How did you do that? I tried for about 1 week to get the audio of the GOUT-DVD in sync with Moth3r's DVD but it always failed...

Now they even say on the DVD: "Ich kann in dem Helm überhaupt nichts sehen;"
"Es wird nicht funktionieren"
"Warum hast du das nicht gleich gesagt"
and
"Ich habe es gesagt".

Those words are missing in the GOUT audio-mix.

I've rather been trying to get Moth3r's ESB in sync with the GOUT-ESB audiotrack. It worked fine but after ca. 1 hour it gets more and more out of sync.

I don't know what went wrong.

So maybe would you upload the audio track for ESB and ROTJ too when you have more time?

Thank you so very much for the audio-tracks! I just finished the ANH-DVD and the audio is very good.

I will use the german THX-Cover for this DVD: THX-Covers

Now I started to sync Moth3r's ESB with the ESB-audio you've been uploading: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZRDJGN43

But the audio-track from this link is the audio-track for ANH. Sorry, but it is the wrong link. Could you post the link again, please???

Would you be willing to demux the german audio-tracks of your DVD's and load them up to megaupload or to rapidshare or something like that?

I did buy the GOUT DVD's after I've downloaded the Moth3r transfers of the PAL-Laserdiscs.

To me the Moth3r transfers look much better than the GOUT DVD's because they are PAL and not upscaled NTSC.

I've been trying to combine the Moth3r m2v with the GOUT m2a, but it always did get out of sync (I don't know why).

So, please please would you upload the demuxed audio-files of ANH, ESB and ROTJ so that I can make a Moth3r-transfer with german audio???

I prefer the Moth3r transfer of ANH because of the higher resolution.

Is there anybody who has a german audio track for ANH and could upload it to megaupload??

Maybe the audio track for ESB and ROTJ too?

I prefer the Moth3r transfer of the original trilogy.

I've been trying to get the german audio of the GOUT-DVD's in sync with the m2v-file of Moth3r's transfer, but it didn't work (I am a novice in that).

So, please, please, could you upload the german audio-file for the Moth3r-transfer again to megaupload???

I am novice and I want to make my own letterboxed to anamorphic transfer of the OOT with the DVDRebuilder pro. This program has a funktion to convert 4:3 letterboxed films into 16:9 aspect ratio.

I tried it with the spaceballs DVD some weeks ago and it worked fine. The Spaceballs DVD is a letterboxed transfer from a laserdisc-master too.

The picture of the "source" of this Spaceballs DVD is very soften and so was the result: The picture was very soften. Who knows yet, how the picture of the OOT-DVD's will be in fact, and:

now here is my question:

Is it possible to sharpen the picture of the OOT-DVD a little bit with the DVDRebuilder? I don't know, if there is anybody, who uses this program and could give tips. As I can see they can use filters with the DVDRebuilder, but I don't know how to get the best picture-result.

Maybe there would be one who could post a "how to" guide, if he uses other tools.

The german DVD's of the original Original Trilogy won't be anamorphic.

Has anybody an idea or a guide to make an own anamorphic transfer? Sure, this would be more a "fanamorphic" than an anamorphic transfer. But the qualitiy would be probably better than the original letterbox-film (what do you think)???

The Moth3r-transfer is a really good "fanamorphic" transfer from the laserdisc, so why shouldn't it be possible to make a "fanamorphic" transfer of the DVD???

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment Germany confirmed on the 4th of may, that these DVD's will be offered even in Germany.

So why shouldn't the DVD's be avaiable in other countries???

Oh, what news!

I am very happy, that the real original Original Trilogy will be released.

For me Star Wars always wasn't only the story. It was also the created models built together and filmed them in stop motion or the aliens and the art they were made. Soon I can watch these "handmade" (no modern computer-animatic-trash etc.). Only these "handmade" films are the real Star Wars films to me.

I respect the argument of Mr. Lucas, that he wanted to make his trilogy the way he imagined how they should be back in 1997.
But now Mr. Lucas respects the wish of the real old-school-fans, to hold the films in their hands as they were back in 1977, 1980 and 1983.
