Twilight Zone
Time
I like the Twilight Zone. I can't remember the episode names, but the one that had William Shatner on the airplane where the Gremlin was tearing up the engine (Remade for the movie), and the one where Jack Klugman was trying to be the greatest pool player ever and Jonathan Winters (I think it was him) is a pool legend, but is now dead, but comes back to play him.
Monsters are Due on Maple Street and Time Enough at Last are great episodes as well.

star trek XI J.J. Abrams
Time
It seems like they are determined to do a Trek film, but don't really have anything they can make, so they are desperate. It seems like TNG has run out of stories. (As said with Nemesis, a blatant remake of Wrath of Khan.) Plus, most non-trekkies immediately think about Kirk and company when they think Star Trek. I doubt any of the other Star Trek series made, such as DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise would make a film that many would want to see, so, to make a Star Trek film, they simply have nowhere else to go. I'm afraid of this one.

Am I the only one who thinks that the inclusion of Hugh Hefner in a list of 'greatest Americans' is pretty funny too? Does he really rank in the same catagory as FDR, Reagan, of JFK?

What about the slaves?
Time
It really does seem that the slaves were a subplot that was supposed to be dealt with later on in the series and simply didn't get around to being included, or a 'deliberate creative decision' was made to drop it. But as said before, the late years of the Old Republic wasn't all that good. If the Republic hadn't grown corrupt and ineffective, Palpatine wouldn't of been able to take over, and engineering the clone wars would of been nearly impossible. But the slaves should of been dealt with, and I imagine that there will be a book or comic series that will have a pre-darkside Anakin returning to Tattoine and freeing the slaves, if there isn't already one out. The EU is pretty good about taking the tiniest little point and turning it into a major event, so something like the slaves won't escape their attention.

The black box thing was a joke. As said before, a black box is a device on an airplane that tracks all sorts of data so investigators can see why the plane crashed. Whenever there is a plane crash, the news always makes big deal about investigators looking for the black box. Thats why the joke was made. It wasn't terribly funny, though.

Gameboy

Depends on what you like. the Super Mario Land series is pretty good. So is Ducktales 2, and Castlevania Legends. I think that was the name of it. There were 3 Castlevania games or something like that for the Gameboy. It was the one that was "Super Game Boy enhanced", if I remember right.

I really don't know one way or another, but I'm not sure I trust the 5-star very much to be authentic 5.1 mix. IIRC, these also came with a DTS track that was just a straight conversion from Dolby, and a poor one at that. But they could be the authentic 5.1 from the Laserdisc.

"BRING BACK STAR WARS" Channel 4 UK documentary coming soon...

Have any of the other actors pissed on Star Wars other than Ford? Mark Hamill has always been real good with SW fans, even produced some of the comics I think. I have no idea how Carrie Fisher feels about it, but she did do the commentary for the 04 DVDs. Ford is the only one I know of who cringes everytime he hears those two words used together in the same sentence. I think Lucas went through a phase were he was saying that out of all the work he has done the only thing people ever ask him about is Star Wars and he seemd annoyed about that. Oh, and Sir Alec Guiness would be another who was annoyed at that, but he was big long before SW, so IMHO he had every right to piss on it if he felt like it.

I may be wrong, but isn't David Prowse also pretty upset about Star Wars? Of course, I think it has more do do with Lucas than the Star Wars movies itself...

Info: Casino Royale - The British Airways Cut
Time
this isn't the first time something like this has happened. If I remember correctly, in the movie Rain Man, most airlines edited out the scene where Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise have the discussion where Raymond won't get on any airlines because they have had crashes. So the movie just cuts to them on the road, with no explanation whatsoever as to why.

Mysterious Cities Of Gold - PAL Project. * Cancelled * (with lots of info)
Time
I agree with the others, the menus and disc art looks great, CW. I'm looking forward to this set.
I have one of Tim Scutt's older sets, and thought it was ok. If this is better, than that, then I will be very impressed indeed.

You were including documentaries at the end of each episode? I know the only copies of those I've seen seem to be from a Polish broadcast (if I remember correctly) with burned-in subtitles and basically poor video quality. Is this the same source you are using? there probably aren't that many sources for them, since they were aired so few times.

Info Wanted: Just watched Deleted Magic - anything else similar...?
Time
Deleted Magic is a great film. I think that at one point, OCPMovie was planning on doing something similar for ESB and ROTJ, but he gave up on that idea. But I could be wrong about that.

You also might want to check out The Sith Revealed and The Clones Revealed. They essentially do the same DM deal for Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones. Sith is finished, but no one has uploaded a torrent of it (I wish they would! Pretty please!), and the torrent of Clones has been taken down so the editor can make some final adjustments. Be patient and you can have those, eventually. So far, no one has taken on The Phantom Menace.

I agree with Johnboy3434 on this one. I would love to see these two, but they don't seem to be anywhere. I hope someone puts them up someday.
